How to Get Larvesta and Volcarona In Pokemon GO

From 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, May 8, 2023, you can get Larvesta through the Instinctive Hero Event coming to the game. During this event period, Larvesta will be able to hatch from 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km eggs. After acquiring Larvesta, you can evolve Larvesta to Volcarona for 400 Larvesta Candy in Pokemon GO.

During this event, your chances of hatching Shiny Pokemon from 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km eggs are increased. In addition, the XP and Stardust you earn from Pokemon hatches will be 2x during the event.

During this event, you can find Happiny, Timburr, Karrablast, Axew, Shelmet, and Goomy. In addition, you can get Mime Jr which is normally only available in Europe from 7 km eggs. If you’re lucky enough you can also get Shiny Mantyke.

Volcarona Stats – Weaknesses and Resistances

Volcarona is a Bug and Fire-type Pokemon with the following stats:

  • Max CP of 4106
  • Attack of 264
  • Defense of 189
  • Stamina of 198.

Volcarona is weak against Flying, Rock, and Water Pokemon. Resistant to Grass, Bug, Fairy, Fighting, Steel, and Ice Pokemon.
