How to Open the Crystal-Encased Chest in World of Warcraft?
To open the Crystal-Encased Chest, you’ll need to head towards the Virdian Throne area of Glimmerogg in World of Warcraft Dragonflight. Opening the Crystal-Encased Chest has an easy enough pattern, yet might be tricky for some players who haven’t spent time-solving the puzzle. You’ll see find two Stone Hands around the waterfall and a rock between them at coordinates 36.43, 74.26. The chest is right there, but you need to find and interact with two crystals to open it.

To find the crystals, fly to the top of the huge pillars near the chest using your Dragonriding mount. If you keep an eye out, you will come across two crystals, one yellow and the other purple. The purple crystal is at coordinates 37.71, 68.87, and the yellow one is at 9.41, 73.32. If you can’t find them, fly around a bit, and you’ll find tiny glowing crystals.
After you interact with the crystals, fly back to the chest. The two crystals you have activated will appear on the chest and shape into a stone. You will then be able to open the Crystal-Encased Chest in WoW and get your rewards. You’ll get a Votalite Crystal Shard and x6 Whelpling’s Shadowflame Crests as rewards. Have a nice one!
