One of the most iconic locations in this iteration of Hyrule is Kakariko Village. Anyone who played Breath of the Wild might remember this place as one of the first Link visits to start his journey. This time, you won’t be able to reach it until you’re a few hours into the game, and even with that, getting there is a bit different. If you thought the game’s map was the same as the previous game, that’s not the case. But don’t worry because we have something for you today. Here we’ll tell you how to get to Kakariko Village in Tears of the Kingdom.

Like anything in the game, there are many ways to get to Kakariko Village in Tears of the Kingdom. Yet, if you’re unfamiliar with the changes on the map, we’ll guide you here. Here are some of the ways you can get to this place:

Travel Southeast From Lookout Landing

Our map’s already unlocked, but you’ll have a harder time if you haven’t scanned the towers. Yet, one of the easiest ways to get to Kakariko Village is by following the southeastern road from Lookout Landing. The great thing about this place is that you can’t miss it. Many NPCs will tell you about huge ring-like structures above the village, so if you see any, you’re near.

The easiest way to get to Kakariko Village in Tears of the Kingdom is by unlocking the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower. You can spot it at a distance, so put a pin on it. Once you get there, you’ll have to solve a few puzzles before you can scan the area, but once you do that, you can dive straight into Kakariko. As we mentioned above, look for ring-like structures and aim for them.

These are the easiest ways to get to Kakariko Village in Tears of the Kingdom, but as always, feel free to experiment. Want to travel on a makeshift hot-air balloon? You can do it! Do you prefer to drop in by plane? That’s valid too! Tears of the Kingdom is even more flexible in many ways than Breath of the Wild, so make your path when reaching this iconic location. You’ll get there eventually!

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is available on the Nintendo Switch.
