The Heated Madness blueprint in DMZ Warzone 2 is a free challenge that you can accomplish to get an amazing-looking Kastov 762. To unlock this blueprint, you’re going to need to complete a set of tasks in the Koschei Complex. But the tasks are not easy at all, as you have to find every attachment of this weapon on your own! Here’s how you can unlock the Heated Madness weapon blueprint for free in the DMZ mode.

What is The Challenge For Unlocking The Heated Madness Blueprint in DMZ?

Assembling this weapon is much more complex than clearing a single challenge or mission. In fact, you need to find five attachments for this blueprint. These pieces are scattered around the Koschei Complex in Al-Mazrah. And you can not find them all in one place, as you need to solve puzzles, stay underwater for a long time, and kill too many enemies to get them!

Where to Find The Heated Madness Attachments?

Here are the locations for all five Heated Madness blueprint attachments in the DMZ. But remember, you need to keep these items in your backpack and extract them with you. You can also mount each attachment separately on the Kastov 762 assault rifle. And at the end, keep in mind that these attachments can be found as small briefcases.

Barrel Attachment Location: Chemical Plant

For the barrel attachment, you need to head to the Chemical Plant section of the Koschei Complex. You can access this new area by heading toward one of the question marks on the map in Al-Mazrah. Now once inside the Complex, you need to look for a jumper cable and a car battery to open the airlock door. Follow the pointers on the wall to find this door, and open it to enter the Chemical Plant.

This area is that dark section in the middle of the Koschei Complex. Remember to bring Night Vision Goggles to see items in this area, and look for the Heated Madness blueprint’s barrel in the low passageways. These wooden tunnels are easily found in the Chemical Plant, and you’ll find the barrel attachment inside them.

Magazine Attachment Location: Defense Research Division

The magazine attachment for the Heated Madness blueprint in DMZ is in the Defense Research Division. If you’ve done the Brothers in Arms DMZ mission, you probably know where this location is. Head to the Chemical Plant, and here look for a key called the “Factory Admin’s Key.” This will unlock the Factory Admin’s door, and when inside, you can proceed to fight the two enemy bosses, The Rhinoceros and The Sniper.

After defeating the bosses, you can explore the area to find a location called the “Defense Research Division.” And from here, you’ll be able to extract the magazine attachment for the Heated Madness blueprint in DMZ Warzone 2. The spawn location of this attachment is random, but it is definitely in the Defense Research Division area.

Grip Attachment Location: Alpha Cluster

To find the grip attachment for the Heated Madness blueprint in Warzone 2 DMZ, you need to head to the Chemical Plant section. From here, look for the bunkers with the C1 written above them, and open them with jumper cables and a car battery. Store these items in your backpack, and you’ll be able to open the door by placing them on the fuse box near the bunker doors.

After that, head inside until you reach an area called the Alpha Cluster. Here, you need 3 AQ Laptops, which can be easily found around the map. Next, you’d need to connect these laptops to the servers you can find on the high grounds in this area. After you have done that, a door will be opened, and the grip attachment of the Heated Madness parts is right inside it.

Muzzle Attachment Location: Alpha Cluster

This attachment is also found in the server room area. Here you can spot a bunker door on the second floor. But to open it, you’d need to enter a particular code, which can randomly change. You will need an R4D Detector to proceed in this challenge. Equip the detector, and look at the bunker’s keypad.

You can spot three symbols above this keypad. Each of these symbols stands for a certain number, and you figure it out by looking at the chalkboards in this area with your R4D Detector tactical. After you get what each symbol means, all you need to do is to enter the code in the keypad, and the Muzzle attachment for the Heated Madness blueprint in DMZ Warzone 2 is yours.

Optic Attachment Location: Barracks

Going for the last attachment here, you need to enter the Koschei Complex from under the bridge in the Taraq Village. Once inside, you’ll be in a place flooded with water. But you can go ahead and rebreathe on top of each room’s space. Follow the arrows to find a climbing point and reach the ground surface.

After that, you can spot a very small crack in the wall in this area, with a mark on it. It’s low on the wall, and you can open it by using explosives like Semtex, Grenade, or a C4. Once you’ve opened it, get inside to find yet another area flooded with water. Here you need to dive into the water, take a left through, open the door on your left, and pick the optic attachment for the Heated Madness blueprint in DMZ. You might need a rebreather field upgrade for this one.

Now all you need to do is to extract each part. Remember that for the Optic attachment, using a Rebreather field upgrade is strongly advised. You should also know that you can only obtain these attachments after a successful exfil. If you die in the process, your attachment will be gone!
