There is no shortage of great weapons to use in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. That being said, some can only be obtained through specific means. This is the case after you have completed the Wind Temple and return to Rito Village to find Teba wanting to make a new bow. Here is how to complete the Legacy of the Rito side quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
How To Do the Legacy of the Rito Side Quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
When you talk to Teba after beating the Wind Temple in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, he will ask you to bring him materials to build a new bow. What he needs are:
- a Swallow Bow
- five bundles of Wood
- three Diamonds
The Wood should be very easy to get. Even if you don’t have it yet, go out into the woods and chop down some trees. When the log is on the ground, strike it some more to turn it into the Wood you need. You can also find bundles around horse stables.
As for the Swallow Bow, you can obtain one just southeast of Hebra Peak. There are two ice blocks at this location. Melt the one on the right to reveal a treasure chest with your coveted bow inside.
The Diamonds are the tricky part. In Goron City, you can purchase them for 1,000 Rupees a piece. They have up to three at once and restock daily. Of course, only do that if you are filled to the brim with cash. There are also a couple of shrines that will reward you with a Diamond.
Outside of that, it appears you will need to get pretty lucky with ore deposits. If you see an ore deposit that has a golden glimmer around it, it has a chance to drop a Diamond when you break it. We recommend saving before breaking it and reloading your save until you get a Diamond.
After you have your items, return to Teba, and he will make you the Great Eagle Bow. This weapon was wielded by Revali in Breath of the Wild and has 28×3 damage. If it ever breaks and you want another, just gather the materials again and talk to Teba in the same spot.
