As we said, there are several ways to get Energetic Rhino Beetles in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom:

  • First, you can find it in trees in all warm climate zones in the game. But only at night.
  • In addition, you can get it as a random drop from the Evermean monster.

First, we advise you to go to the southern game world part and visit Bronas Forest in the Faron region. You can find different beetles among the dense trees, including Bladed, Rugged, or Energetic Rhino Beetle. You can find all these beetles on stumps or trees, so you can easily collect them all. Also, you can find a few Energetic Rhino Beetles on the trees in Kakariko Village or the Akkala Sea coast.

Also, we recommend taking a photo of the Energetic Rhino Beetles to add to your Compendium once you find one. If you have completed the Hateno Village Research Lab quest, you can activate Sensor Plus to find all the Energetic Rhino Beetles within the sensor area.

If you decide to try your luck and fight Evermean, you can find them in any undersized forest. For example, you can visit Great Hyrule Forest, Hyrule Forest Park, Applean Forest, and many other similar locations. And as soon as you find this monster, cut it or burn it to get your reward. Indeed, despite its clumsiness, Evermean is a source of valuable resources such as Beetles, Monster Extract, or Golden Apple.

Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
