Finding the Light Dragon location in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom can be a bit tiresome. If you want to collect materials such as the Light Dragon’s Scale, Light Dragon’s Talon, and Light Dragon’s Spike, you’ve come to the right place. Dragon paths are very different in TotK and often rather difficult to remember. In this guide, you will find the answers to the questions of when the Light Dragon appears in TotK and how to reach the Light Dragon.

There’s more than one way to find the Light Dragon, but we’ll explain what we think is the simplest way in this guide. Light Dragon makes a full circle around Hyrule from the exterior. As it passes through the bottom part of the map, it passes over Lake Hylia rather than the far exterior. We cannot answer the question of when the Light Dragon appears in TotK given it is completely random. As for how to find Light Dragon in Tears of the Kingdom, the best way to do this is from the Necluda Sky Tower.

If you want to find the Zelda Dragon location even easier and see it on your map, there is a way. For this, you need to go to Lost Woods and reach Korok Forest. From there, head to Deku Tree and jump down through the hole in the middle to defeat the Gloom Hands and then Phantom Ganon. Then go back up and talk to Deku Tree, and you will receive “Recovering the Hero’s Sword.” As long as this quest is active, you can see the Light Dragon paths TotK by clicking on the quest in the Adventure Log.

How To Reach Light Dragon

The easiest way to reach the Light Dragon is to fly with the Glider from the Sky Tower. As mentioned earlier, the best Sky Tower for this is Necluda Sky Tower. Of course, this is only the case if your Hero Sword quest is not active and you don’t know where the Light Dragon is. If your Hero Sword quest is active and you can see where the Light Dragon is, you can move up to another higher spot accordingly.

All Light Dragon Material Drops and How To Get Them

  • Light Dragon’s Scale: You can get this material by hitting the Dragon’s body.
  • Shard of Light Dragon’s Spike: You can get this material by hitting Dragon’s spike on his back.
  • Shard of Light Dragon’s Fang: To find Light Dragon’s Fang, you should hit the Dragon’s mouth.
  • Light Dragon’s Talon: You should hit the Dragon’s claws.
  • Light Dragon’s Horn: Hit the Dragon’s horns on his head.

That wraps up how to find the Light Dragon in Tears of the Kingdom.
