If you thought Forgotten Memories: Friendship was dark, try learning how to find Gothel’s Jewel-Encrusted Mirror in Disney Dreamlight Valley. While Completing Forgotten Memories: Trust, you’ll encounter everyone’s favorite manipulative mother figure: Gothel. In this quest, you’ll have to help her alone and hold onto your beliefs as hard as possible. Still, before you can get out of this nightmarish memory, you’ll have to fish Mother Gothel’s Jewel-Encrusted Mirror out of a pond. This is easier said than done since several bodies of water are in this area.
To begin the search, speak with Mother Gothel. Just like the previous Forgotten Memory trial walked you through the loss of friendship, this trial attempts to walk you through the loss of trust. Listen to Gothel as she tries to convince you that Merlin is holding you back from reaching your full potential. She’ll then ask you to Rip out the Orb from the Pillar of Trust.
After a session of motherly manipulation and snatching an orb from your power, she’ll request that you bring her one of her favorite jewels: the Jewel-Encrusted Mirror in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Is it under her bed? Behind the bedtable? Not at all; she lost it in a lake nearby the Giant Willow. Apparently, she was admiring herself and dropped it. Mother doesn’t know best, after all.
To find Mother Gothel’s Jewel-Encrusted Mirror in Disney Dreamlight Valley, follow these steps:
- Start by turning back 180 degrees and heading opposite where she’s standing.
- Keep heading forward until you reach a well with a glow from within.
- You’ll spot a pond with a big oval-shaped rock to the well’s left. If you see some golden bubbles nearby, consider it your clue.
- Whip out the fishing rod and throw the bait directly into the bubbles.Â
- After getting each mini-game challenge right, the Jewel-Encrusted Mirror in Disney Dreamlight Valley will be all yours.
TIP: Curious about the light-blue glow emerging from that well? You’ll get a Toy Story ball for your inventory if you try to fish what’s inside the well.
Head back to Mother Gothel near the Giant Willow to give her the Jewel-Encrusted Mirror in Disney Dreamlight Valley and finish this quest. With the Memory of Trust out of the way, it’s time for the final trial of the Forgotten Memories quest.
