You won’t beat Square Enix’s latest action RPG without using skills and potions to replenish your health. Some of the bosses and enemy encounters are very tricky, with a complex combat system that requires plenty of understanding to master. Here’s how to heal in Final Fantasy 16.

Final Fantasy 16 offers a variety of options for recovering your health points (HP).

  • Final Fantasy 16 Potions
  • Healing Magic
  • Eikon Abilities and Job Skills
  • Torgal’s Healing Abilities

How To Heal Using Potions

One of the ways to heal in Final Fantasy 16 is through the iconic potions. They will automatically equip and can be used quickly by pressing the up button on the D-pad. These potions will restore a moderate amount of HP, allowing you to keep your characters in optimal condition during combat. In addition, powerful Hi-potions are also available, giving you a more significant recovery.

How To Use Healing Magic

Healing magic is another widely used method for healing, as it can also heal your allies in Final Fantasy 16. Some characters in the game will have the ability to use healing magic. This allows you to restore the health points of one or all of your allies. It is crucial to remember that healing magic consumes magic points, so it is necessary to use it wisely. Make sure you have enough magic points before casting healing spells to keep your party in total health during battles.

How to Use Eikon’s Abilities

You can also use specific characters’ unique abilities to strategically recover your health points (HP). For example, you can use Eikon’s abilities, such as the Flames of Rebirth, to restore your health. You can customize your characters based on your preferred play style. This will allow you to choose specific tactics to keep your characters healthy and ready to face any challenge.

Torgal’s First Kit Ability

As we have mentioned, it is essential to be previously prepared and have an inventory of potions and other healing items to confront the most challenging combats. However, you can also rely on Torgal to heal you during combat in Final Fantasy 16. His healing ability focuses on restoring the “gray health” you have recently lost due to enemy attacks, but keep in mind that he won’t be able to increase your health beyond that point.

Limit Break Recovery

Finally, an important recommendation is to take advantage of your Limit Break, as it also provides passive health regeneration. As you explore the captivating fantasy world, you’ll discover new ways to heal yourself and face challenges that will demand your ability to keep your characters at peak performance.
