Sony just announced the games being added to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Catalog in July. This month has some juicy titles, especially if you missed out on some of these in their hay days. The highlights for this month include Sniper Elite 5, The Ascent, and the classic Undertale. If you have a person to play coop with, It Takes Two is a no-brainer, as the game is loved by critics and fans alike. The game’s comedic timing and variety of levels keep the platforming fresh, and it has more heart than you might expect. The Ascent also makes the cut, as the futuristic cyberpunk action role-playing game is a solid coop and single-player experience even with its lackluster story and characters.

For fans of fighting games, especially anime fighters, Melty Blood: Type Lumina might prove to be a good time. The game still has a solid following and an amazing online netcode based on GGPO, so if it seems interesting, definitely give it a shot.

As for the PlayStation Plus Premium lineup, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that Twisted Metal is back. Sony even mentioned in the PlayStation Blog post that this is because of the upcoming live-action Twisted Metal series. The show kicks off on July 27 on Peacock, and the post-apocalyptic series has a diverse cast.
