A Sneak Peek
Marvel’s Voices: X-Men #1 features several stories from great comic creators. Marvel has given a small taste of what awaits readers in the issue. It includes a new story starring Destiny and Mystique called “Evil Mutants.” This comes from Jay Edidin and Nina Vakueva and follows the lovers in the time before the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.
Writers Raphael Draccon and Carolina Munhoz join artist Jethro Morales for “The Stolen Night.” This story follows Rogue and Gambit on a romantic night that may or may not include some thievery. Also in the issue is “Cryo-Therapy” from Jay Jurden and Wilton Santos. It shows Storm and Iceman bonding as they test the limits of their omega-level powers.
Jubilee and Lady Deathstrike star in “Hollywood Ending” from Greg Pak and Daniel Bayliss. These two mutants form an odd duo in this thrilling tale. Meanwhile, Solem takes center stage in Al Ewing and Gustaffo Vargas’ “The Man With No Shame.” Finally, “Team-Building Terrors” by Sarah Kuhn and Jorge Corona brings Jean Grey and Emma Frost together for some bonding.
