You know what’s cooler than Pirates? And if there’s anything Pirates of the Caribbean has taught us, it’s that being a ghoul is cool. Roblox Blox Fruits thankfully lets you have that opportunity with a bit of diligence and patience. Of course, our help with the Ghoul race guide will also speed up the process. So, here’s how to become a ghoul in Roblox Blox Fruits.

[Updated on September 15, 2024 – Table and more details added to the guide]

First off, you can’t become a ghoul right away in Roblox Blox Fruits. There are steps and requirements you need to meet first. The main one is that you need to be in the Second Sea— at the very least.

That’s because you need access to the Cursed Ship in Roblox Blox Fruits, specifically the NPC Experimic who resides in the Cursed Ship. Experimic will sell you the access to the Ghoul race, for a hefty and unusual fee. You need the following to buy the Ghoul race from Experimic:

Ghoul Race RequirementLocation
Hellfire TorchDrops from the Cursed Captain Raid Boss near the Cursed Ship, Second Sea.
100x EctoplasmDrops from the following enemies:
-Ship Deckhand
-Ship Engineer
-Ship Steward
-Ship Officer
-Ghost Shark
-Haunted Crew Member
-Cursed Captain

Getting both of those requirements is quite the grind so you better get started right away. Below is a quick guide and primer on how to get the following materials.

Grinding for the Materials to Unlock Ghoul Race in Blox Fruits

As expected, those requirements are reliant on both your hard work and luck. I recommend that your character be at least Lv. 1300 (higher is better) so that you have no problem soloing the aforementioned Raid Boss. You can get by with being Lv. 1100 but you will have to rely on other players.

Lucky for you, we have guide on getting the Hellfire Torch fast and easy. It involves slaying the Cursed Captain over and over again (or just once if you get lucky with the drop). You can stop repeatedly hunting him down once you have the Hellfire Torch.

While the Cursed Captain gives 10 Ectoplasm per kill, he only appears ever 10-12 minutes to not an ideal farm. Instead, you want to turn your attention to these following mobs for Ectoplasm:

Ghost SharkDrops 4-5 Ectoplasm
Haunted Crew MemberDrops 4-5 Ectoplasm

However, you can opt to just slay any ship enemy along the way for more Ectoplasm. No need to be picky. Most of the enemies around the Cursed Ship will drop Ectoplasm. Just remember the two enemy types mentioned above for target farming.
