Getting an in-depth character creator in any game is very satisfying. Larian Studios went all out for its latest RPG, letting you have your dream Dungeons & Dragons characterย come to life in an expansive video game world. When creating your character in Baldur’s Gate 3, you may want to change your name. A name is that cherry on top to solidify the identity of your character. We will go into how you can do this and clear up if there are other times you can change the name again if you wish to.

You can change your name in Baldur’s Gate 3 almost right away in the Character Creation menu and later on via the Magic Mirror. No matter what step you are on, look to the right side for Background. In this menu, you can give yourself a history with bonus stats to affect your build and flesh out your character’s life for the best roleplaying experience. Also, this is where you can change your name to anything you want. Characters won’t be speaking your name, but it gives you more of a sense of identity and immersion in this world.
