Palia is the new high-profile MMO game on the market. After being available in limited closed beta and early access runs, the game hit open beta on August 10. Like all the popular MMOs, Palia has a robust character creation that allows you to invent your preferred character in this new world. However, there are plenty of occasions where you make a mistake with creating your character or grow tired of the character you created. When that happens, can you delete your character and start over fresh?
Is It Possible To Delete Your Character in Palia?
You can change your character’s appearance, but you won’t be able to delete your character in Palia. You can change your character’s hair, make-up, clothes, and glider skin by interacting with the Wardrobe or visiting Jel’s Shop.
The Palia FAQ page elaborates that it plans to include the option to change selected attributes after hearing players’ requests. However, the developers will not be processing any character deletions or character change requests at this time of writing. The developers may incorporate a character deletion decision at a later date in Palia. But for now, you’re stuck with the character you created.
The need for character deletion goes beyond wanting to change your character’s appearance. Players would often invent a character hastily during the closed beta or early access without much thought, with the intention that they can restart from scratch when the open beta launches.
Players also want to change their surnames because they accidentally chose the incorrect name or mistyped it. Unfortunately, players are now stuck with any decision they made in character creation during the early beta of Palia.
