As we explained, you’re going to want to begin your journey in Merusea Village. If you don’t see it, that’s because you haven’t completed the Ancient Colors Quest Chain. In order to complete this quest, you’re going to need to speak with Puca, who is located in the area outlined in the map above. Her home is located beneath the village, so you’re going to want to swim underwater to find it. She’s lost her token in A Very Bright Place, and you need to find it by defeating a bunch of Breacher Primus enemies. After defeating them, you’ll receive both the token and a Strange Ore.

After returning the token to Puca, she will advise you to take the ore somewhere so that you can make some money off of it. If you take the ore to the Gem Merchant in the Court of Fontaine, a man named Chesil will be manning the stall. He will give you 100,000 Mora for the ore. Return to Puca and tell her about your interaction with the merchant, to which she will then mark where there are more Strange Ore on your map. You will need to return to A Very Bright Place to find more Strange Ores and obtain a maximum of 30 of them. You’ll need to attack the ores that have red veins in order to get them.

Once you’ve collected all of the available Strange Ores, you can head back to Chesil who will then use them to create different accessories. You’ll need to return to Chesil after the nest server reset in order for him to admit that he wasn’t able to make the accessory as promised. Instead, he crafted a Special Clock out of the Strange Ore which you can then take back to Puca. At that point, you will be rewarded with all of the following:

  • 250 Adventure EXP
  • 35,000 Mora
  • 40 Primogem
  • 1 Strange Part
