Although Palia is still in open beta testing, you can already experience the unusual mechanics of this farming simulator. Sure, mechanics like fishing and crafting are pretty familiar to fans of the genre, but catching bugs can be a fun pastime. After all, besides these creatures spawn only in specific locations at certain times of the day, you will have to stun them using special Smoke Bombs. Palia incentivizes you to get many unique insects, and you can easily catch bugs like the Inky Dragonfly. But you must put in more effort if you need the Garden Millipede in Palia, and we will help you.
Palia: How To Catch Garden Millipede
The Garden Millipede is an Uncommon Insect found throughout the Kilima Valley in Palia. You can catch these insects all day long with the Smoke Bomb. It is worth noting that the Garden Millipede is relatively fast and has more endurance than many insects, so you will have to put in a lot of effort to stun them and catch them. Of course, you can use standard Smoke Bombs for this, but we recommend using Sneaky Smoke Bombs to increase the chances of success.
You can often find Garden Millipedes lying on the grass in any Kilima Valley location, but this is not the only way. After all, with a 5% chance, a Garden Millipede can spawn while you are collecting Wild Garlic and Sundrop Lilies in these locations. In this case, you must react quickly to equip the Smoke Bomb and catch this insect.
In addition to your skills, a Belt is an essential success factor. For example, the Makeshift Belt gives you a 40% chance of catching the regular version of the Garden Millipede and a 20% chance of encountering the Quality version of this insect. At the same time, the Exquisite Belt guarantees 70% and 50% success, respectively.
How To Use Garden Millipede in Palia
At the time of beta testing, the usefulness of Garden Millipede is relatively low. You cannot use this insect in any quests, but you must capture at least one for the six themed Bug Accomplishments:
- Catch Bugs
- Advanced Bug Catcher
- Expert Bug Catcher
- Master Bug Catcher
- Kilima and Bahari Bug Collector
- Master Kilima and Bahari Bug Collector
Also, you can always sell this insect for 36 Gold or 54 Gold if you catch the Quality version.
