Zhongli hides his strength and all that he is truly capable of doing just to live with the people of Liyue and leave behind his past as the Geo Archon. However, even as a “normal person,” sometimes this consultant must intervene in important battles. Therefore, even though he wants a quiet life, Zhongli still preserves the elements of his build, such as his artifacts and weapons; he even keeps in contact with his team for any mishaps that arise in Genshin Impact. So even after “his passing,” the Geo Archon is a reliable ally.

The Best Artifacts for Zhongli
These are some of the best choices of artifacts for this Geo Support:
| Tenacity of the Millelith | 2-Pieces: HP +20%. 4-Pieces: When an Elemental Skill hits an opponent, the ATK of all nearby party members is increased by 20%, and their Shield Strength is increased by 30% for 3s. - Tenacity Of The Millelith: In Genshin Impact, the HP stat is Zhongli’s most important stat as it improves his entire build, increasing his ATK and shield. This ATK upgrade makes this character more flexible if you need to use him in combat beyond Support.
- Tenacity of the Millelith + Archaic Petra: Tenacity already has the HP increase covered, but Archaic Petra improves the ATK%, making Zhongli focus on his shield and take on a more offensive role with his Burst.
The Best Weapons
Zhongli is a master at using many weapons, but for now, he prefers to use these polearms:

- Staff of Homa: It is an excellent option since Zhongli’s stats scale with HP, so it will give you a more resistant shield. Although the CRIT is not essential for defense, improving the DMG of his build is very convenient.
- Dialogues of the Desert Sages: It is a better and more accessible option to improve the HP of this character. Sadly, the Geo Archon cannot use the full effect of this weapon.
- Black Tassel: This weapon is the easiest to get since it appears in Luyue’s chests. With this polearm, we are not looking to improve combat against slimes, but the HP increase is always good for Zhongli.
The Best Team and Rotation
As a Shielder, Zhongli is indispensable in many team compositions and an excellent partner for several of Genshin Impact‘s DPS, such as:

This Archon can be an excellent Sub-DPS and even a DPS. However, many prefer to use Zhongli with his Support build and teams as he has one of the strongest shields in Genshin Impact. This is because some of the best DPS are prone to being interrupted during their rotations, so having a solid shield is a must for them.
