Traveling across the great expanse of space in Starfield will expose you to a variety of different planets, fauna, flora, and a variety of other discoveries. One of these discoveries is the Deimos Armored Transport. It’s not a difficult ship to find and loot once you know where it is, so we thought it would be a good idea to explain how to find and clear the Deimos Armored Transport in Starfield.
How To Find The Deimos Armored Transport in Starfield
Finding this ship is the easy part. All you need to do is head over to the Alpha Centauri system and look for the planet Bondar. You’ll see the icon of a ship floating around it, which is where you are going to want to set your course to. Once you do, you will be transported directly in front of it. The ship won’t be hostile, so you’ll be able to target it and dock without any issues. Now that you’re on the ship, you will want to clear it out of everything that it has so that you can walk away with the most rewards possible. Alongside how to get to the ship, we outlined how to clear it down below as well. Before you do so, you’ll want to make sure that you have a few Digipicks equipped.
How To Clear The Deimos Armored Transport in Starfield
The moment you enter the ship, you’ll see that the gravity is off, making it so that sometimes you’re floating due to zero gravity, and sometimes your gravity will be normal. This is great as you venture throughout the ship but also terrible as everything will be floating around when there is zero gravity. After getting through the second floor of the first room you enter and loot the safe that is there, you can continue on the first floor until you see a few Crimson Fleet pirates in front of a locked vault. If you have positive ties with the Fleet, then you can just walk past them. Otherwise, you’ll need to fight them.
If you continue on, you’ll eventually come across an elevator. Regardless of whether or not you’re in zero gravity, the elevator won’t go up. You’ll need to open the hatch on the ceiling of the elevator in order to move up when there is zero gravity. There is a door that you cannot open about halfway to the top, but your goal is the very top for now. Once you reach the top, there you can continue forward until you come across a locked, red emergency door. There is a computer directly next to it that you can use to open the door as well as a room to the left when you are looking at the door as pictured above. The door will lead to the elevator shaft from earlier, opening the locked door from before. You won’t want to leave at this point because if you go into the room on the left, you’ll reach a dead end with some machinery to your left. If you wait for the zero gravity, you will see that the machinery has stopped and you will be able to float through it, landing on the other side.
Here, you will see a staircase that leads down into a room with the only exit being a large, vaulted door. The door isn’t locked, so you’ll be able to freely walk through. Here, you will find another computer that will give you the ability to open the vault that the pirates you first encountered were trying to get into. Once you go back and into the vault, if you float all the way to the top, you will come across three more vault doors. The one on the left requires a Master level Digipick skill while the one in the center holds the treasure of the transport. This is what we received as rewards when we opened the chest inside:
- Bogdonov’s Boutique Liquor (Box Set)
- Titanium Coachman
- 3708 Credits
- 25 Caseless Shotgun Shells
- Deep Recon Space Helmet
- Seven Titanium
