The new update of Dreamlight Valley is here and adds a wealth of new content, including some new quests and missions to complete. Like before, there are a couple of quests that include creating or gifting certain dishes. While most of the time the game tells you what you should make exactly, there are cases in which it is vague, like making a mediocre meal. So here is how to make a perfectly mediocre meal in Dreamlight Valley.

Back when the game was first released in Early Access, a big portion of Disney Dreamlight Valley was based on cooking and making different dishes. Part of the challenge was to find out how to make dishes and gather ingredients. In the new update, you can complete a certain quest by making a Perfectly Mediocre meal.

A mediocre meal basically means you have to cook a dish that isn’t a top-rated meal or something easy to make. Basically, it means you need to make a 3-star meal. In some cases a 2-star or 4-star meal works, but if you cook any 3-star meal in the game you are good to go.

A 3-star meal can be appetizers, entrees, or desserts. You can find a list of the best 3-star meals you can make in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

  • Eggplant Puffs: Eggplant, Eggs, and Cheese
  • Pumpkin Puffs: Pumpkin, Eggs, and Chees
  • Grilled Veggie Platter: 3x Vegetables
  • Pottage: Potato, Vegetable, and Herb
  • Fish Salad: Lemon, Lettuce, and Fish
  • Maki: Seaweed, Rice, and Fish
  • Hearty Salad: 2 Vegetables and Lettuce
  • Seafood Soup: Seafood, Wheat, and Butter
  • Cheery Pie: Wheat, Butter, and Cherry
  • Pawpsicle: Slush Ice, Fruit, and Sugarcane
  • Biscuits: Wheat, Butter, and Sugarcane
  • Sour Snow Cones: Lemon, Sugarcane, and Slush Ice

That is everything you need to know about making a mediocre meal in Dreamlight Valley. Make sure to check our website for more Dreamlight Valley content.
