90 Day Fiancé’s Riley & Kimberly paired off when they shouldn’t be dating. We met Kim Menzies and Riley Diego in past seasons when they were both dating other people. Both have moved past their former relationships and have begun (allegedly) seeing each other. Kim used to date Usman “Sojaboy” Umar and he essentially played her. Why shouldn’t they be dating, you ask? There are honestly a myriad of reasons, and I’m here to break them all down.
Riley & Kimberly Relationship, Explained
Riley was dating Violet Tuyet in Before The 90 Days, season 6. He was honest with her, but she was shady and played him badly in front of the whole world. It’s not hard to see why Riley & Kimberly probably shouldn’t be dating. Of course, they’ll do what they please, but the fans are clearly in opposition. While it is nice they are both in the same age range, will that be enough to keep them connected over time?
The dating rumor was set off by Riley asking Kim on a date. While it does make sense that maybe they would do better with a more age-appropriate relationship, is that what either of them wants right now? Sometimes it can be tough to be alone, but perhaps that’s just a tough pill they need to swallow. Granted, no one wants to be alone, but sometimes that can be a necessary evil for the growth needed.
Ultimately, they are both very kind people, and we hope they have healed enough to actually move on. That is something only these two individuals know. While we do hope for the best between these two, there are some red flags we noticed in each person that has us concerned for the stability of the potential relationship.
Why 90 Day Fiancé’s Riley & Kimberly Shouldn’t Be Dating Each Other Quite Yet
First off, how about the fact that Riley is mostly into Asians and Kim likes her men younger? Both of those issues could present themselves down the road. For both of them, this feels like a rebound relationship. Both of them come pre-packed with insecurities that could also post huge problems down the road. While we do hope these two find love, this all feels a tad bit premature at this point. They also live in different states, which would make things harder. Sometimes the best thing you can do is to take time between relationships to ensure you are the best partner you can be.
Riley & Kimberly are trying to make things work but they both probably need time to truly be ready for a courtship. They shouldn’t be dating yet, and we hope they figure this out. While there is nothing wrong with getting to know each other, we do hope they choose to take it slow. The last thing these two wants is another nasty break up, after all. But we will be the first people to eat our words if proven wrong. In this case, we want to be proven wrong, actually. Regardless of what happens, we wish them both the best.
