Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6 brings a new event to the game to frighten the players with jumpscares and help monsters interrupt the fights in Al Mazrah. This is called The Haunting event in Warzone, and players can now start a new quest of fetching souls across the maps. However, there’s another quest in the game in which you need to hunt down all the monsters within Al Mazrah. If you do so, you’ll receive a bunch of rewards with the ultimate prize of a Bas-P SMG pro-tuned blueprint.
Who Are The Monsters of The Haunting Event in Warzone Season 6?
- The Butcher
- Swamp Creature
- The Pharaoh
- UFO
- Ghost Train
- Evil Spirit
The names on this list look just as weird as they should be on this Haunting event of Call of Duty: Warzone. Most of these are bosses on the map, and some are just places and locations that you need to visit to complete the task. For example, the Ghost Train isn’t an actual enemy to fight, but rather a train that you need to pick its heart to finish!
Now remember, you can find all these bosses in the Al Mazrah map on any Warzone game mode. You’ll spot them easily on the map whether you’re playing the Resurgence, Battle Royale, or DMZ modes. Here, we’ve got some details about each of Warzone’s The Haunting event’s bosses and how to defeat them as quickly as possible.
The Butcher in The Haunting Warzone

- Zarqwa Hydroelectric
- Al Samman Cemetery
- Zaya Observatory
- Al Mazrah City
This is probably the hardest boss you’ll face in Operation Nightmare. But why not go for the big prizes first? Not only will you progress in Warzone The Haunting event by killing The Butcher, but you’ll also be rewarded with an item in Diablo IV for slaying this beast!
So, to start hunting this “fresh meat” eater, you’ll need to spectate a Lilith-looking item on the map before deployment. This is a mark for the rituals that are recently being held on the Al Mazrah map. And when you get there, you’ll find six Lilith statues that are waiting for interaction.
Once you interact with one of these statues, the ritual begins. This will alert everyone on the map that you’re doing something in the marked area, and soon, the other players will join you if they haven’t already. This is the hard part of this mission, and that’s the fact that you have to fight both zombies and enemy players who are also trying to kill The Butcher.
If you’re lucky enough to do all the rituals and survive the hordes of zombies and online players, a portal will appear at the center of the altar. Enter it, and you’ll get into another dimension where The Butcher hunts you down! His health bar is shown on top of the screen only to inform you how useless normal weapons are against this boss.
The best you can do to kill The Butcher is to give him a Koschei Complex Rhino boss treatment from DMZ. That means using the almighty KV Broadside and C4 charges to blow up the devil. But remember, you’ll be wounded in this area. This will stop you from plating and kill you in the end. You should also note that a Self-Revive kit is very important to have before entering the portal. And lastly, other players can enter the portal as well!
Swamp Creature
Spawn Location:
- Mawizeh Marshlands
Next, we get to the Swamp Creature, which is nothing like the Swamp Thing from DC after all. He’s just another boss from The Haunting Warzone event, and you can kill him easily with a few Thermites and KV shots. However, this boss is a tricky one, meaning that he’ll not show up to fight you like The Butcher, and you need to get to the swamps and loot the giant eggs around it to summon the stinky devil.
First, head towards the Mawizah Marshlands in Al Mazrah. Look for some eggs that act like the supply boxes. You need to loot these to find a Golden Tiara. Next, go to the center of the swamps to find a yellow demonic sign on the ground. When you get close to it, it says that you can offer a Golden Tiara to it. Do so, and the boss fight begins.
This will spawn three Swamp Creatures that attack you with high speed. You can not outrun them easily, but they’re not punching bags like The Butcher, so you can just kill them easily with half a clip of a KV Broadside. After you kill them all, the good loot awaits with the Golden Tiara, which is worth $130,000! Which is quite useful in the DMZ mode of Warzone The Haunting event.
The Pharaoh
Spawn Location:
- The Oasis
If you’re a fan of The Mummy movies, then this boss fight should be a delight for you. If you reach the Oasis section of the Al Mazrah map, you’ll find a tomb of a mummy underground. This is where the entrance to the Koschei Complex is located, and you’ll find many enemy AIs there. Kill as many as you can, and pick their red skulls to donate them to the tomb.
You need to get 10 red skulls to place at the tomb to conjure The Pharaoh. These skulls can be placed in your backpack, and the only way to obtain them is by killing the AI guards in the area. After that, you’ll be resurrecting The Pharaoh, just so you can kill him and send that mummy to hell again.
The tricky part about this boss fight in The Warzone Haunting event is that The Pharaoh can do grab attacks. If he reaches you, you’re in terrible danger. So, instead of shooting the boss from close range, pick slug ammunition for your shotgun, aim down your sight, and shoot the devil from range. The best strategy is to have a teammate outrun The Pharaoh while the others shoot him.
The UFO
Spawn Location:
- Near Sawah Village
This is the most weird boss fight of The Haunting event in Warzone. There’s a UFO in Al Mazrah, and it has opened the sea so that you can land on the ships that were sunken before! However, the UFO itself is not on the ships, but you can find and shoot it down from the sky.
First, there’s a giant orb in the sky near the Sawah Village. Shoot it, and it’ll be divided into three parts that’ll shoot you back. Destroy them all, and the UFO will reveal its true face, just like what you’ve seen in cartoons and movies. Shoot it down once more, and it’ll drop an orb in a random location near the area.
Now, your objective is to have a teammate carry the artifact. Cover him, or you pick it and tell them to cover you and take the thing on the ship with a marked portal on your map. It’s going to be a little tricky to get up there while carrying the orb, but once you’re there, you only have to deposit it to the portal, and the mission is complete.
The Ghost Train

- Al Mazrah Railways Around The Map
There are a total of two trains in Al Mazrah, which rotate in clock and clockwise rails around the map. Now, in The Warzone Haunting event, one of them is removed, and there’s only the Cargo train that has been completely redesigned to match Halloween standards.
You’ll spot this train near Al Mazrah City most of the time, but its location is not always the same. Look at your tac map after the game starts, and you’ll find it on the train tracks. Now, the best mode to reach this train is probably the Resurgence because you’ll respawn after you get killed by the traps inside the train.
There are Claymores, Decoys, and Sentry-Guns in this train, and you’ll have to pass them all to reach the tip of it. On the front wagons, you’ll find a chest that has an item called the Heart of The Train. Pick this item, and the challenge is complete. There are also lots of mystery supply boxes near this item, which you can open with Heat-Resistant Keys you can find in the loot boxes on the train.
Evil Spirit Warzone The Haunting Event
Spawn Locations:
- Al-Safwa Quarry
- Al Mazrah City
- Al-Malik Airport
- Al Bagra Fortress
This last one is just looting some areas that are marked on the map in the image above. There are mystery figures inside the supply boxes and lockers in these areas, which will do a jump scare when you open them. Find all four, and the last The Haunting mission in Warzone Season 6 will be complete.
