This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

The Adamant Hammer is the final story tool in Return to Moria, and to craft it, you will have to go through the following steps:

  • First, you must unlock and build Khuzdul Forge.
  • Secondly, you must reach and beat the final Narag-Shazon boss.
  • Next, you must find and talk to Aric, Raven of Erebor.
  • And finally, you must collect the necessary materials and craft the Adamant Hammer.

First of all, it is worth noting that all the steps described are plot stages and are impossible without each other. Simply put, until you unlock Khuzdul Forge, there is no way you can progress to the final boss. The game is quite linear, which is somewhat disappointing, but on the other hand, you can’t go wrong.

So, first, you should advance through the story and go to The Lower Deeps. Visit the large room in the center of the map and find drain pumps. You will need a lot of Ubasam Wood, which will allow you to fix pipes and drain water. Once the water goes away, you will find Great Belegost Forge and unlock Khuzdul Forge. You only need a large room with high ceilings, after which you can build this forge.

The next step is defeating the Narag-Shazon Dragon. This powerful enemy is the final boss, and you will probably have to spend some time killing it. We recommend creating more powerful equipment using the previously obtained Khuzdul Forge and materials from the lower levels of Moria. However, if you play in co-op, the battle will seem like a cakewalk. Rest assured that the Nameless you may have met before is much stronger.

Once you defeat the boss, you should go into the passage near the arena and talk to Aric, Raven of Erebor. A short conversation will lead to the advancement of the plot and unlocking the Adamant Hammer recipe:

  • x15 Adamant
  • x4 Ironwood
  • x2 Fine Leather

By the time you receive the Adamant Hammer recipe, you have probably already obtained all the materials described above more than once. So, craft this tool and go further in the story to repair the bridge, destroy the terrifying wall, and finally get the final cut scene.

To summarize, here’s what you need to do to get Adamant Hammer in Return to Moria:

  • Build Khuzdul Forge.
  • Defeat Narag-Shazon.
  • Talk to Aric, Raven of Erebor.
  • Gather the necessary materials.
