My Time at Sandrock is a life simulation game where you work as a builder in a small town. Naturally, that means you can romance many of the local townsfolk, including the local chef/bartender, Owen. He owns the Blue Moon Saloon, which is located at the entrance to town. In order to romance Owen, you will need to increase your friendship points, which can be done by talking to him, completing missions for Owen, and giving him gifts. Here’s what you need to know to romance Owen in My Time at Sandrock.

Owen can typically be found in Blood Moon Saloon, but he occasionally leaves to go to the stage nearby and city hall. The easiest way to find Owen is to wait until sundown and head to the saloon. He is almost always there at that time of day. As you achieve higher friendship levels, you will unlock perks, which give you a discount in the saloon. He occasionally has contracts listed in the Commerce Guild, but a series of side quests open up when you unlock gardening. As your friendship grows, he will ask you to bring specific crops for his dishes. Owen is also featured in a few main missions, which will reward friendship points.

Owen likes cooking and typically gives you cooked dishes and gems at certain friendship levels. Talking to Owen daily and completing quests for him are great ways to get some friendship points, but the most reliable way is to give him gifts he likes and loves.
