The Tetrazenylpurine Inhalant, or TZP for short, is a very useful item in Lethal Company that can confuse some players. At first, you might think it is a healing item, which could surely be a blessing. Sadly, that isn’t the case. However, even if it doesn’t heal you, it can save your life when exploring some of the dangerous moons of this game, and if you have the credits, you should consider getting this item as fast as possible.

Like other items, you need to buy the TZP Inhalant first. Be aware that this item is one of the most expensive ones. If you head to the store, it’ll cost you 120 credits. It is a steep price, and you’ll need to grind a bit for it, especially since there are other more essential items than this one. However, the Inhalant is useful, especially during your late-game runs.

What this item does is increase your stamina and movement speed for a short moment. The downside of using it is that you’ll get blurry vision while under the effects of the Inhalant. Remember, the longer you spend on any of the game’s moons, the more dangerous it’ll get, meaning you’ll need something to help you escape fast. Besides, some monsters chase you, so using this item immediately will allow you to reach your ship unscathed.

During our runs, we’ve found that this item isn’t too essential unless you’re playing solo. If you’re alone, make a note to buy this as soon as you have the money. If not, it is always better to leave someone inside the ship to guide you and other players through the corridors of these derelict buildings. Always prioritize other tools, such as the Shovel or Boombox, before getting a TZP Inhalant in Lethal Company doesn’t hurt.
