GTA 6 Gets Its First Trailer and Reveals a Release Window for 2025
After the trailer appeared online hours ahead of its official premiere, Rockstar Games seems to have applied the good old “if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em” tactic and released the first trailer for GTA 6. In it, many things were confirmed, such as the location and protagonist. As previous leaks showed, Vice City is the city where the next entry will take place. Besides that, the franchise is getting its first female protagonist, Lucia, in a story we already see that took inspiration from Bonnie and Clyde. Also, if you thought Rockstar’s humor peaked in Los Santos, a fictional version of Los Angeles, get ready to visit a fictional version of modern-day Florida.
It is exciting and nostalgic to see the end of an era. GTA 5 has run its course, and while it’s still getting updates for GTA Online, players want something new. While we’ll have to wait two years for the new entry, the light at the end of the tunnel looks clearer now. Still, we imagine the developers will give us another year full of stuff to do in GTA Online, starting with the upcoming Winter DLC, which might arrive in the following weeks.
