Beyond customizing your base and equipment, Enshrouded allows players to experiment with some engaging melee, ranged, and magic builds. For fans of the first one, there are many skills that’ll let you charge against any enemy and take them down with a few swings. And while magic or sniping enemies with a bow might also sound great, having a warrior in every party armed to the teeth is always great. If you’re that kind of player, there are a few options to live your fighter fantasy in Enshrouded.
Best Melee DPS in Enshrouded
Anyone who jumps into Enshrouded will quickly notice the skill trees resemble the ones in Skyrim, meaning you can make entertaining melee builds if you want. Here, we’ll discuss one that provides good DPS while giving you a few options to stay alive. Also, keep in mind that we will only give you the recommended active and passive skills you should pursue. Stat increases, on the other hand, depend on your personal choices, but as long as you unlock the recommended skills, you’re good to go.
Recommended Skills
- Merciless Attack
- Power Parry
- Jump Attack
- The Warrior’s Path
- Slasher
- Butcher
- Veteran
With the skills here, let’s break down in what order you should get them and why you should pick these as you level up.
First, we recommend starting with Merciless Attack. This can be one of the most useful skills in the game, as it’ll allow you to do heavy damage after depleting an enemy’s stun bar. It’ll require a bit of skill to master this ability, but the payoff is great.
After that, you should focus on getting the Power Parry skill, which will synergize greatly with the Merciless Attack ability. This will increase how much damage you do to the foe’s stun bar, meaning you can activate your finisher much faster.
After that, we recommend switching to the Athlete tree and grabbing the Jump Attack skill. This is a fantastic ability to have, especially when facing many enemies. If you’re wielding a two-handed weapon, be sure to get some endurance points because this skill takes a lot of your stamina when you perform it.
Last, you’ll have to stick to the Warrior skill tree once more and unlock The Warrior’s Path, Slasher, Butcher, and finally, Veteran. These abilities increase your overall damage with slashing weapons. We chose these armaments because we feel it is easier to find them in the game as opposed to blunt weapons; however, if you have a preference for blunt or pierce damage, switch to the corresponding row to adapt the build to what you have.
Overall, Enshrouded is quite flexible regarding melee builds; if you’re not happy with one, you can always respec, assuming you have the currency for it.
