Call of Duty is no stranger to cheaters, even if the Ricochet anti-cheat system bans thousands of them. If you’re a Warzone or MW3 player, chances are high that you’ve faced these tricksters many times in your online gameplay. These days, the most common type of cheat that they use are aimbots and wallhacks. That being said, a recent Reddit post reveals a MW3 cheater showing off his brand new fully automatic grenade launcher.
MW3 Cheaters Are Getting More Creative
The Grenade Launcher is an attachment that you can equip to your Assault Rifles and heavy weapons. This underbarrel is barely used by players, and its functionality isn’t that promising. Even if you manage to land a shot near the enemies with this grenade launcher, you might just damage the opponent and fail to actually kill them. But have you ever tried shooting bursts of grenades at them?
This ModernWarfareIII Reddit community post shows a player facing an enemy that’s doing just that; shooting fully automatic grenades. Specifically, it shows how dedicated the cheaters have become in finding new ways of ruining the game for us players.
Fun fact: If the Ricochet anti-cheat system finds MW3 and Warzone cheaters, their game functionality will break. Their shots won’t affect other players, or their weapons will be removed. This has limited the interference of cheaters in both games. However, we probably can’t hope for the complete removal of cheats from games like Call of Duty. Cheaters always seem to find a way to ruin the game for other players!
You can even find these pesky rapscallions in the dead lobbies of some older CoD games. So no matter the time or the Call of Duty entry you’re playing, you’ll always find cheaters in these online experiences. Hopefully, they get a dose of karma one day, eh?
Call of Duty: MW3 is currently available to play on PS5, PS4,
