This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Since the release of Genshin Impact three years ago, the ultimate endgame has involved beating all the floors of The Abyss monthly. This often requires months of dedicated effort to acquire the necessary artifacts and specifics for each character, not to mention the high cost of leveling up, talents, and weapons for each character in your roster. However, the game is about to shake things up if leaks are to be believed. Recent Genshin Impact information points to a new endgame mode with unique gameplay: the Imaginarium Theater. This promises to provide meta players with a fresh and intriguing challenge after they’ve conquered the Archon mission and the current Abyss.

In the Imaginarium Theater, players will have six opening characters that will get 20% more HP, ATK, and DEF bonuses. In addition, there are 12 backup character slots to choose between your own, trial, or friends’ characters. This last option is similar to Honkai Star Rail.

The Imaginarium Theater will have eight stages, where the 3rd, 4th, and 8th will be bosses. Each stage will have events such as a backup character joining your team, a buff, or a mystery effect that can affect you negatively. Beyond that, there could be different effects on the battlefield, such as the constant application of some random element.

The supposed design of The Imaginarium Theater that appears in the leaks reminds players of the 2.8 version of Genshin Impact, specifically the Summer Fantasia event. This endgame reminded players a lot of the Fischl Immernachtreich Apokalypse castle. As in that event, the Imaginarium Theater will bring great rewards, most notably about 1,000 Primogems for finishing this game mode for the first time. You will also be able to earn new and unique poses for your character for your photo mode. The best thing is that the players who play the game will have more content and rewards instead of trying to break the limits of Genshin Impact or discovering a new glitch.
