You don’t need the Mad Hatter for a tea party in the wasteland. You just need some teapots. Although classified as Junk in Fallout 76, teapots allow you to complete one of Bethesda‘s Challenges. Bumping up your S.C.O.R.E. never hurts, and you can always scrap the pots for Asbestos and Ceramic to craft with after. If nothing else, hunting teapots is a good way to learn the ins and outs of Appalachia before tracking down some toothier (and more irradiated) targets. Here are the best locations to find teapots in Fallout 76.
Fallout 76 Teapot Locations
Life in the wasteland isn’t just about avoiding a series of brutal deaths, although that’s a good place to start. Finding teapots in an area as vast as Appalachia isn’t easy, but it beats fighting Snallygasters in a radioactive junkyard. For the most part, you’ll find teapots where you’d expect: sitting on shelves and kitchen counters in ruined buildings. That takes some of the guesswork out of your search, at least, since you won’t have to fumble around in the woods to find these collectibles. Here are some of the best locations to find teapots in Fallout 76 (and how many you can expect to find):
- Palace of the Winding Path – 14
- The Neapolitan Casino – 5
- Helvetia – 4
- Appalachian Antiques – 2
- Dolly Sods – 2
- Aaronholt Homestead – 1
- Giant Teapot Gift Shop – 1
- Greg’s Mine Supply – 1
- Hemlock Holes – 1
- Pioneer Scout Camp – 1
- Prickett’s Fort – 1
- Red Rocket Mega Stop – 1
A single trip to the Palace of the Winding Path or Neapolitan Casino is probably all you need to complete this Challenge, but Helvetia is a good alternative if you’re far from those locations and don’t feel like walking or paying the Cap fee.
Teapot Types
When you start scrounging in the dilapidated ruins of the wasteland for teapots, you may discover something interesting. There are three different types of teapot in Fallout 76:
- Teapot
- House Teapot
- Huffwarbler Teapot
The good news is all of them count for this Challenge. You don’t have to worry about grabbing the wrong item by accident, so if it brews, it gets used. Your stockpile of bergamot and oolong may be running low, but at least you’ll have some S.C.O.R.E. to keep you warm at C.A.M.P.
Fallout 76 is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
