The clock is ticking in the endgame for Once Human thanks to the rather brief 6-week Season. After that, the server gets wiped and everyone starts anew. However, you get to keep some important stuff that will help you fast-track your progress in the new season. So you probably know what we’re thinking about here. Stockpiling all the endgame items and gear you can keep goes a long way.
With that in mind, here’s a good list of what can help you in the current endgame and what you can also take into the next season (to a certain extent). Don’t worry, you still have plenty of time to collect these. We have approximately four weeks left until the season wipe (around August 20, 2024).
Ideal Endgame Specializations
If you want a smooth endgame, the key is Acid (which allows you to craft ammo, upgrades, and even fuel). Certain specializations also let you produce some of the most precious resources in the game while AFK (Acid, Premium Fuel, Energy Link, etc.)
In such cases, make sure to take the following Specializations whenever you see them after every five levels. If they don’t appear once you’re Level 50, then you’re out of luck. These won’t carry over to the next season, by the way. Levels get reset so make the most out of them in this season’s endgame.
Specialization Name | Effect |
Sulfur Alchemy | New Formula: Sulfur Alchemy. Slowly turn Sulfur into Acid using the Synthesis Bench. |
Sulfur Chemist | Unlock New Formula: Sulfur Chemist. Can use Sulfur and Energy Link at the Synthesis Bench to slowly produce acid. |
Electric Drill: Treasure Hunt | Improved Formula: Electric Drill. Enjoy +100% yield when mining for Gold Ore, Silver Ore and Startrace Ore with an Electric Drill. |
Precious Metal Refining | New Formula: Gold Ingot, Silver Ingot. Smelt Gold and Silver Ores into Ingots using the Electric Furnace. The Ingots can be sold for a large number of Energy Links using this One Human Memetic Specialization. |
Super Refinery | Unlock New Facility: Super Refinery. Transform Acid into Portable Mixed Fuel more efficiently. |
Sulfur Specializations are probably the most important ones there are as they let your Synthesis or Advanced Synthesis Bench craft Acid.
The drill and the Precious Metal Refining are for selling Gold and Silver Ingots for Energy Link (so you can purchase thousands of Starchrom in the Season Shop come Phase 06). This Energy Link also lets you refund Memetics.
If you finally have tons of Acid, then you can convert them into Portable Mixed Fuel using a Super Refinery. That solves most of your resource problems.
Weapons & Weapon Blueprints
Sadly, you don’t get to keep your weapons. You can, however, keep that weapon’s blueprints. That way, you can craft them right away if you have the materials. You’ll also want multiple blueprints (as many as you can find) for enhancement levels.
For that matter, I recommend the following weapon blueprints or weapons. Try to have multiple blueprints of these weapons, if possible, it helps not only in re-calibration but also in enhancements.
SOCR – The Outsider / SOCR – The Last Valor
The SOCR is really just killing it with its variants. The Outsider (purple) variant is for Power Surge builds while The Last Valor is for Shrapnel or Crit builds. Right now, Power Surge is one of the top builds in the game and can carry you easily into the Once Human endgame, just equip the Static Shock mod into SOCR – The Outsider.
That status quo might change in the next season, so it’s good to have backups like The Last Valor, but I would focus on prioritizing The Outsider as Power Surge can be easier to build.
MP7 – Outer Space
This is your alternative to the SOCR – The Outsider if you’re rocking a Power Surge build. It deals a bit more damage, as long as you still equip the Static Shock mod to it. Of course, it’s more expensive to have multiple blueprints of this one, so I wouldn’t chase it before you get the purple SOCR.
DE.50 Jaws
It’s also known as the best Unstable Bomber build weapon and it’s part of the current meta, much like Power Surge. It’s expensive, of course, but worth it if you want a pistol build.
Recurve Crossbow
The Recurve Crossbow is another good part of the meta in Once Human thanks to The Bull’s Eye status effect which is a huge damage increase. All you have to do is open the combat with a well-placed Recurve Crossbow shot and that’s a 10-second Crit boost.
AWS.338 – Bullseye
If you prefer something safer, then you can’t go wrong with Sniper Rifles. This one with the Reload Rampage mod ensures you never have to reload or fight in melee range. It also comes with innate The Bull’s Eye status, so consider it an upgrade to the Recurve Crossbow.
Armor & Armor Blueprints
For the Once Human endgame, armor is even more expensive since you need 4-piece sets of the gold-tier items from the Wish Machine. So if you have limited Starchrom to spend, then the following Armor and Armor Sets have my vote.
Falcon Set (4-piece)
Think of this as your budget clothing for when you can’t afford the gold-tier Wish Machine armor sets. It provides reliable Crit boosts and more Stamina.
Lonewolf Set (Either 2-piece or 4-piece)
It can help a lot for Crit builds and is an overall universal damage increase. If you already have a more ideal 4-piece armor, then a 2-piece set for this for the Crit is also good enough.
Shelterer Set (4-piece)
If you have a Power Surge or even an Unstable Bomber build, this armor set is probably the best-in-slot. It has tons of Element and Status damage, most other sets can’t compare for the endgame depending on your build.
Bastille Armor (Either 1-piece or 2-piece)
There’s an easy damage boost here even if you only have one piece equipped so it would be a shame if you ignore that. The 2-piece bonus is more of a convenience.
Gask Mask Hood / Mayfly Goggles
Get either of these two for Power Surge builds, they can complete the build and make the Once Human endgame content a breeze.
Shaman Vulture Top
For those rocking Unstabler Bomber (another great Once Human endgame build), then the Shaman Vulture Top is almost mandatory for a big damage boost.
Mods
Mods play an even bigger role when it comes to Once Human endgame viability. Don’t go picking fights in the endgame without these. Additionally, you get to take them into the next season. So if you’re farming endgame to be ready for the next season, I would prioritize looking for the following gold mods and their locations (note that these also have purple variants):
Mod Name | Location |
Reload Rampage | -Securement Silo Psi -Mensdevoran -LEA Lab |
Static Shock | -Shadow Hound -Treant -LEA Lab |
Reckless Bomber | -Shadow Hound -Treant -LEA Lab |
Fateful Strike | -Securement Silo Alpha -Mensdevoran -LEA Lab |
Thunderclap | -Securement Silo EX1 -Mensdevoran -LEA Lab |
First-Move Advantage | -Securement Silo Alpha -Mensdevoran -LEA Lab |
Elemental Overload | -Securement Silo Sigma -Mensdevoran -LEA Lab |
Covered Advance | -Securement Silo Phi -Mensdevoran -LEA Lab |
Slow and Steady | -Securement Silo Phi -Mensdevoran -LEA Lab |
Bullet Siphon | -Securement Silo Psi -Mensdevoran -LEA Lab |
Ruthless Reaper Precision | -Securement Silo Phi -Mensdevoran -LEA Lab |
Crit Boost | -Securement Silo Sigma -Mensdevoran -LEA Lab |
Even if your build isn’t using them, collect them nonetheless since having variety can help you experiment with what works. Moreover, you can’t be sure what the meta will favor next season so you might as well grab all the good gold and purple mods you can farm.
With these mods and the gear and specializations I recommended, you’ll be more than ready for the endgame — you’ll also be ready for next season’s endgame even after the season wipes.
