Surprise, surprise—Meme Sea doesn’t just have silly fruit powers, but also meme weapons, and like the fruit powers they all fall somewhere on my Roblox tier list. If you don’t plan on using fruit powers, then you’re dumping points into your Melee stat or, in this case, the Weapons stat. In doing so, using weapons becomes far more effective, and naturally you want to be swinging the best weapons in Meme Sea at other Roblox players!
All Weapons in Meme Sea, Ranked Best to Worst
Tier | Weapons |
S-Tier | Purple Katana, Popcat (Weapon), Pumpkin |
A-Tier | Yellow Blade, Card, Floppa (Weapon), Bonk, Pink Hammer |
B-Tier | Pixel Sword, Flame Katana |
C-Tier | Banana, Katana |
D-Tier | Portal, Hanger |
Ranking every weapon in Meme Sea isn’t just about damage, although that’s a major driving factor. You’ll notice that many of the best weapons have stuns and great, big AOE attacks (area of effect).
- Purple Katana: With maxed out stats alone, the Purple Katana has some of the strongest M1s in Meme Sea. Along with a ranged attack, it deals big AOE damage with Giant Blade, which stuns and gets better as you dump points into your Weapon stat.
- Popcat (Weapon): Who doesn’t want to deal 16,000 damage with just two abilities? The trick is to use Popcat Prison first, since it has a larger hitbox and stuns, then quickly follow up with Popcat Minigun.
- Pumpkin: Essentially Purple Katana, but with two stuns, one of which pulls targets towards you and is really hard to miss. Pumpkin Meteor deals massive damage and has a similar circumference to Floppa Meteor.
- Yellow Blade: Being stunlocked is the Yellow Blade’s biggest weakness and why it’s A-tier and not S-tier. It’s still an awesome weapon though, especially in PvP. Combo Yellow Tornado and Yellow Slashing and your target’s Instinct won’t hold up for long!
- Card: As far as damage is concerned, the Card doesn’t have much, but that’s okay. Being able to reflect damage with Reverse Card is incredibly strong in PvP, not to mention a stun to boot. Truthfully, it should be a part of every build, just for its utility.
- Floppa (Weapon): Really good M1 damage and has a fast, long-range ability with a big hitbox. Floppa Rain is also a great AOE ability that has 3-second stun built into it. That’s plenty of time to follow up with combos.
- Bonk: Your M1 attacks pack a wallop if you dump points into Weapons, although its AOE is a little unreliable. It’ll hurt if it hits, but not always the case. If you hit your target with Cheems Bonk, you’ll teleport to them, making it an excellent choice for chasing bounties.
- Pink Hammer: Essentially a slightly worse Floppa (weapon) without the 3-second stun.
- Pixel Sword: One of the best early-to-midgame weapons in Meme Sea for its M1 damage and Pixel Barrage ability (you channel waves of diamond swords in a wide area). Pixel Block is also handy for chasing. It teleports you like Bonk’s Cheems Bonk ability.
- Flame Katana: Super strong M1 attacks and its flame-based abilities cause burning, dealing more damage over time. You just have to practice your skillshots!
- Banana: Decent enough M1 and ranged attacks, but it’s most useful ability is Banana Bit, which heals you. Like Portal, you aren’t using Banana for its damage, but utility.
- Katana: The best early game weapon for newbies. It’s easy to use, just two abilities, and deals respectable burst damage. Katana Slash isn’t hard to land given that it has a wide arc.
- Portal: Not at all useful in combat. You don’t use Portal to fight, but for its ability to teleport you to any island in Meme Sea.
- Hanger: Short range and low damage. Spinning Hanger looks like it has a large hitbox, but it’s rather narrow and really hard to land. Save that $25,000 you’d spend on Hanger and save it for the Flash Step ability.
Contrary to what Hanger (the NPC) says, the Hanger weapon is not the most powerful weapon in Meme Sea. I hope to see more variety down the road, something more than just stuns and AOE or maybe a rework or buff for some of the worst weapons, like Banana.
