Kailtyn Bristowe’s love life has been very public since she competed for love in Chris Soules’s season of The Bachelor in 2015. Since then, she has had several high-profile relationships with men from the Bachelor Nation, including Nick Viall, Shawn Booth, and her most recent ex, Jason Tartick.
Bristowe and Tartick dated for two years and even got engaged, but the couple split last year. At the time, they released a statement suggesting that the split was mutual and amicable. “Continuing our friendship is incredibly important to both of us,” they said. “We feel grateful to be ending our engagement with love and respect for each other. It’s heartbreaking and sad to say goodbye, but our care and admiration for one another will never die.”
Now that Bristowe is back on the dating market, does she plan to date someone else from the Bachelor Nation? The comments she made to the Betches’ U UP? podcast suggest she is conflicted about this, as she first noted that dating someone from the Bachelor Nation was a “superficial” red flag and then seemed to backtrack her comment.
“I wonder if other people have that in, like, the workplace,” she said. “Like, ‘I don’t want to date another lawyer if I’m a lawyer.’ It’s one of those things where I say that, but then I see all the hot pieces of a** that come out of the Bachelor franchise. And I’m like, ‘OK.’”

Kaitlyn Bristowe also discussed her public relationship with her ex, Jason Tartick, and how her initial actions could have impacted the relationship. “I think we both got caught up [in social media] in the beginning,” she shared. “You know, we shared very quickly [that we were together], and Bachelor Nation loves another Bachelor Nation couple. We got all this attention, and I seriously think we both got a little lost in that.”
She continued, “We got caught up in monetizing our relationship for social media, and that felt gross really quick.”
