The first Call of Duty game to join the Game Pass lineup was Modern Warfare 3, which was released to subscribers in July of this year. Microsoft is taking advantage of its acquisition of Activision but has yet to see how this impacts the sales numbers for the long-running series.
When Black Ops 6 launches this month, it will include a single-player campaign set in the 1991 Gulf War, which Raven Software and Treyarch are developing. But more importantly for most players, the multiplayer mode will include 16 maps, 12 of which will be 6v6, and the other 4 will be Strike maps that can be played in 2v2 as well as 6v6. The good old prestige system is also making a comeback.
The most interesting addition has to be the new Omnimovement, which allows the player to move, run, jump, and slide in any direction. This will have a major impact on online play. It will also have a zombie mode for coop fans. Zombies will be round-based and will have 2 new maps at launch. For the first time ever, players can actually save their progress as long as they have full health.
