Before we get a glimpse of the new Black Ops 6 Warzone gameplay in action, a new leak has emerged in the form of a trailer video. It showcases BO6 integration with the free-to-play battle royale Call of Duty. The clip is under 2 minutes to watch, featuring new weapons and operator skins that’d probably become available as part of the Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 1 Battle Pass, Blackcell, and bundles. At least one of the Zombies crew is getting a fresh outfit here, and I’m a big fan!
The leak comes from the official Call of Duty ANZ account on X, releasing the trailer sooner than expected. And such a thing like that won’t get away easily from the fans. It didn’t take long for the official Call of Duty account on X to release the key art of Black Ops 6 Warzone Season 1, however, the trailer is still on the internet as a leak.
So we first see the Echo Ridge Weapon Station sign in Nevada, which is where Area 99 is located. This is a brand new Warzone Resurgence map that’s coming to the game with Black Ops 6 Season 1. The map’s size is more like the Ashika Island and Rebirth Island, with less than 50 players taking part in every match. In fact, if you go to BO6 Nuketown right now in a private match, you can roam around and find Area 99 at a distance.
New map aside, the Black Ops 6 Warzone gameplay trailer also focuses on the Omnimovement joining Call of Duty: Warzone in Season 1 as part of the Black Ops 6 integration. Speaking of which, all the weapons, perks, and the loadout system of BO6 will be implanted in Warzone as well, which makes us wonder how it will affect the game with its already existing MW2/MW3 content. I mean, could we pick the Gunfighter Wildcard and equip 8 attachments on the Superi-46? That’s something we’d love to test.
As it was teased days ago in the official Call of Duty X account, the Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 1 theme revolves around the crime families of Avalon, with 3 Multiplayer maps taking place in that area. That’s why it’s believed that the main character featured on the Season 1 cover art is Sevati Dumas, a BO6 Campaign character who used to be an assassin working for The Guild, an Avalon-based syndicate.
Focusing on the weapons, the first thing we see is a new sniper rifle that looks very much like the Barret .50 Cal held by an operator in the scene above. There’s also a small Uzi or probably a Mac-10 variant held by the operator on the right side of the Black Ops 6 Warzone Season 1 art above, which is also featured in the gameplay trailer as well.
Now it’s either these two weapons are the fresh stuff we’re getting in our BO6 and Warzone loadouts in Season 1, or they’re just reworked skins and blueprints. That’s because a recent leak about Black Ops 6 Season 1 weapons has not addressed a new sniper rifle and a Uzi-looking SMG, but a new assault rifle called the Sar-80. Call of Duty will be posting the official info about this soon, so we’re not a long trip away from finding out exactly what’s coming next to Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
