Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 1 isn’t just about Multiplayer and the new undead horrors of Zombies, in fact, this is a big breakthrough that reshapes everything in Warzone, including the perks, Wildcards and the entire loadout system. Gunsmith tunings and the 100 attachments are no more, and so is the priority-based perk mechanism that aged like milk. We’re here to debrief everything about the new BO6 loadout perks coming to Warzone in Season 1; remember, we’ve got a job to do.
Black Ops 6 Warzone Integration loadout System, Explained
With Black Ops 6 Warzone integration in Season 1, we’re going back to the good old pick-3 perks in the new loadout system. This is what Treyarch has tailored for us to use and enjoy in the new Warzone, allowing us to pick 1 from each category. They’re not prioritized, and surprisingly enough, you can find and stack more of these perks as ground loot.
Perk 1
- Reflexes: This is exactly your Flex perk from the MW3 Warzone, except for the fact that it won’t be aiding you in hearing footsteps. Reflexes perk will delay the enemy mine’s timer when you run past one.
- Veteran: Works like our previously used Focus perk, allowing for less flinch while in ADS and more hold-breath time when using certain weapons like sniper rifles.
- Grenadier: Aids you in aiming better for throwable lethal and tactical while your explosive damage to the enemy slows their health regen and movement speed. Definitely an underrated perk already.
- Dexterity: Works exactly the same as its Black Ops 6 counterpart, reducing fall damage and motion while diving, sliding, and jumping.
- Scavenger: You start with full ammo while you can also loot more armor plates and ammo from the dead opponents.
- Survivor: Your HP regen starts faster when you’re hit and your teammates can revive you faster when you’re downed. This perk is probably the best in this category if you’re the type that rushes through the target first head in Black Ops 6 Warzone.
Perk 2
Quartermaster: Your lethal and tactical equipment is recharged every 50 seconds.
Bomb Squad: Aside from being able to see enemy equipment through walls, you’re also well-protected against explosives. Not immune though.
Tracker: The enemies you shoot are automatically pinged for your teammates This also happens if the enemy downs you. On top of that, the enemy’s footprint can be seen on the floor as you chase them. This version of the Tracker perk is a mixed version of the old Tracker and the Combat Scout in Black Ops 6 Warzone.
Sprinter: Indefinite Tactical Sprint; nice.
Cold-Blooded: Enemies won’t receive an edge-screen pulse when you aim them from the sides. Enemy thermal optics and AI-controlled Killstreaks won’t detect you.
Quick Fix: You can fire your weapon from the hip while inserting armor with the other hand; just like how it’s done in Zombies. Inserting armor or killing enemies will immediately start health regeneration.
Perk 3
Gung-Ho: You can reload your weapon even while in Tac Sprint. Reloading and using equipment won’t slow you down.
Resolute: You receive a movement boost when shot by the enemy. The boosting window is short, make use of it to escape or get a comeback at them.
Ghost: Enemy players won’t find you on their UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors when you’re on the move. Birdseye beats it.
Birdseye: Get 25% larger UAV pulses while enemies’ directions are also shown on your squad’s tac-maps. Ghost players can’t hide when you have Birdseye.
Tempered: Same old Tempered. You insert 2 plates instead of three and still get the 150+ HP you’re looking for.
Alertness: You’ll receive notifications if the enemies are nearby or aiming at you from outside of your view.
Black Ops 6 Warzone Lootable Perks and Wildcards
Aside from all the mentioned perks that are coming to Warzone in Black Ops 6 Season 1, you’ll also find some lootable perks in both Battle Royale and Resurgence maps. Two of these perks are unique ground loots:
- Irradiated: Insert armor in gas and take less damage while outside the safe zone.
- Shrouded: Drop a gas grenade immediately when downed.
The other four perks that you find are among the three categories listed above. The game chooses which 4 perks get to be in the game as ground loot, and you can stack them on top of the ones you already have. Once dead, the lootable perks disappear and can not be retrieved by you, your teammates, or the enemy.
Wildcards are the new additions to Call of Duty: Warzone thanks to Black Ops 6, and they’re joining in as soon as Season 1 starts. These items will give you extra help to get from your Warzone loadouts like adding 8 attachments to your weapons, or having more than one primary weapon in your backpack!
There are a total of 4 Wildcards being added to Warzone in Black Ops 6 Season 1:
- Overkill: Bring two primary weapons to the battleground like you did during the MW3 Warzone era.
- Gunfighter: Add 8 attachments to your gun. Excited to test MW2/MW3 weapons with it?
- Bandolier: You’ll receive a Munition Satchel to carry more ammo once you grab your loadout from its package.
- Battle Ready: You’ll receive a UAV and a Utility Box once you grab your loadout.
Overall, all these verticals add much more to the Warzone we know and have played in the past couple of years. Call of Duty: Warzone has never been so deep on its loadout system, and hopefully it’ll be more balanced as we go through the Black Ops 6 lifespan in 2024/2025.
