Titled One Piece Grand Arena, this game lets up to 20 players duke it out to become the next Pirate King.
Roblox open-world enthusiasts might be in for a disappointment though, as it doesn’t offer the popular fare of free-roaming gameplay. Instead, in One Piece Grand Arena, players are dropped in an arena and have to collect treasure or knock out opponents to rack up their bounty.
Battles last five minutes or until someone hits the 5,564,800,000 Berries goal– Gol D. Roger’s legendary bounty. As such, it offers fast-paced gameplay for anime and action fans alike, not unlike Project Smash. One Piece Grand Arena also features iconic locations like Alabasta, Drum Island, Sky Island, and Marineford as arenas.
Still, its transformation mechanic sets One Piece Grand Arena apart from most fanmade games on Roblox. Players can equip up to two skills and transform into iconic One Piece characters when activated. From Luffy’s rubber punches and Moria’s shadow to Ace’s fiery fist, the abilities add depth and excitement to each encounter. More than 20 character skills are available at launch, with additional ones planned for future updates.
Nevertheless, the fun doesn’t stop with battles. The Thousand Sunny serves as the game’s interactive hub, where you can chat with the Straw Hat Crew and play mini-games. Such as participating in a dumbbell competition or having photoshoots with Luffy and friends using iconic emotes like the ‘Friendship Sign.’
Customization options on the in-game store are not limited to Luffy’s straw hat or Chopper’s red hat. You can also unlock a special Whitebeard Cloak for your avatar using the GrandArena2024 code. Act fast though, as Bandai Namco isn’t telling us when the gift code will expire!
Whether you’re a fan of the anime or just love a fast-paced brawl, One Piece Grand Arena offers a unique take compared to similar Roblox experiences. Fans of open-world experience might feel let down with this release, but it still has plenty of fanservice goodness. Dive in today, aim for the top, and claim the Pirate King’s bounty!
