Kanye West is known to have a big personality. The rapper is also known for his strange antics as well as his declining mental health. However, despite those things, Kanye still finds time to do whatever he wants. Recently, West finished the highly esteemed The Last Of Us Part 2. The Last Of Us franchise is held in extremely high regard, especially since the HBO show was such a hit. That said, while Kanye has been hiding out in Tokyo playing TLOU, he has not seen his own children in weeks, including for the holidays.
According to Gamerant, Kanye West called The Last Of Us Part 2 “The best game ever made so far.” The “Champion” singer posted a message on social media where fans could see some gameplay of The Last Of Us. The caption for the photo spoke about how much West loves the game. However, some social media users were upset with the rapper. It would seem some fans think, “He could be seeing his kids” instead of playing video games in Tokyo.

Those same fans took to Twitter to voice their opinions on the matter at hand.
“Guess he’s never played RDR2,” joked one.
“He could be seeing his kids,” wrote another.
Finally, another fan joked, “He’s only played one game.”
It would seem that most fans found the situation rather funny. However, some are definitely upset about West seemingly abandoning his children.
It has been reported that for the past few weeks, Kanye West has been in Tokyo, Japan, with his current wife, Bianca Censori. West and Censori got together not too long after the artist’s divorce from Kim Kardashian. In the few weeks they have been in Japan, West has completely ignored his children. West and Kardashian share four children together in North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm West. However, Kanye has effectively left Kim as a single mother despite his duties as a co-parent. While Kim has the money to support her family, raising four kids is still a tall order.
As for Kanye West’s love for The Last Of Us, specifically Part 2, the game has plenty of loyal fans. The post-apocalyptic survival horror game saw its first installment released on the PlayStation 3 back in 2013. The zombie outbreak caused by the Cordyceps Brain fungus ushered in the feeling of an outbreak that felt like it could really happen. That, alongside the world-building, has left fans wanting more for years now.
The Last of Us is a critically acclaimed video game franchise that brings in a broad audience that now includes Kanye West. Season two of TLOU on HBO has also allegedly wrapped filming. Hopefully, West can watch it with his family, if he ever gets back from Tokyo, that is.
