Donald Trump is at it again! With less than two weeks to his inauguration as the 47th president of the United States, the president-elect is throwing a major tantrum about the handing-over process. However, as is usually the case with Trump, there seems to be some hypocrisy at play.
On Monday, Trump took to Truth Social to blast Biden for making the transition of power a challenging process. “Biden is doing everything possible to make the TRANSITION as difficult as possible, from Lawfare such as has never been seen before, to costly and ridiculous Executive Orders on the Green New Scam and other money wasting Hoaxes,” he wrote. “Fear not, these ‘Orders’ will all be terminated shortly, and we will become a Nation of Common Sense and Strength. MAGA!!!”
The strong message came at the same time Vice President Kamala Harris led Congress in certifying his electoral win. This time, however, it was a peaceful vote certification process unlike when Trump lost to Joe Biden in the 2020 elections. Four years ago on January 6, 2021, what was supposed to be a peaceful certification process descended into chaos. Throngs of President Trump’s stormed the Capitol on the belief the election was stolen. The Republican, at the time, did nothing to assuage his supporters. Instead, he further incited them on social media, urging them to take back his mandate. Despite the dark representation of what that day means to Democracy, Trump and his MAGA fans continue to try to paint it differently.
Donald Trump’s Chief Of Staff Contradicts Him, Praises Biden’s Administration
Trump is no stranger to twisting the narrative, which seems to be the case for his accusations against Biden. Despite his complaints, his incoming White House chief of staff, Susie Wiles, has nothing but praise for the current administration. Per HuffPost, during an interview, Wiles described Biden’s administration as “very helpful.” She particularly credited Jeff Zients, Biden’s White House chief of staff, revealing he hosted her to dinner at his beautiful home.
Fans online seem to have caught up with Trump’s tactics and blasted him for throwing a tantrum with his post.
“This is basically the political equivalent of a toddler, injuring itself and blaming someone else,” one fan slammed.
“Jesus Christ, YOU WON. Just take something in grace for once in your f**king life you miserable conglomeration of your forefathers mistakes,” another blasted.
“Last election, Trump made such a fool of himself he wouldn’t even concede he lost to Biden. He’s truly not in a position of having the moral high ground on this,” a third comment read.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Trump or his team has accused the Biden administration of frustrating the change of power process, even though the evidence says otherwise.
