Jolie was on the red carpet when the interviewer was asking the actress about her new nomination. However, that is when things took a turn for the worse.
The reporter then recalled back 25 years ago when Angelina was nominated for an Oscar and Golden Globe for the film Girl, Interrupted. When asked the question, “What’s the biggest difference when you look at your life,” Jolie was visibly shaken. With Angelina having bad blood with Brad Pitt, talking or even thinking about her messy divorce may be very triggering for the actress.

Jolie seemed to be at a loss for words while the reporter asked the question. It’s unclear if this is a question the outlet asks every star or if they just forgot about Jolie’s high-profile divorce. Either way, it was an awkward situation for everyone involved. The name of the reporter who asked the question is Zuri Hall. This has led some social media users to take a deeper dive into Hall’s career. Fans of Jolie may have wanted to know who was asking these types of questions.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie announced they have brought an end to their legal battle on New Year’s Eve. However, that seemingly will not quash the beef between the former married couple, especially after the long nightmarish breakup the two put each other through.
