Kanye West has an interesting dating history that includes many famous faces, but arguably, one of his most memorable couplings was his brief romance with actress Julia Fox. The pair were linked for less than two months, starting on New Year’s Eve in 2021. Although her star was rising in the entertainment world thanks to her work on the film Uncut Gems, Fox’s relationship with West gave her a much bigger platform as fans became fascinated with the woman who held the musician’s heart (albeit briefly).
In the years that followed, Fox has continued to captivate audiences because of her daring style, bold makeup choices, and comments on her time with West. Most recently, however, she made headlines for sharing her unusual experience with the spirit world. During an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, the star discussed how she was living with a ghost in her Harlem residence. It’s not your average haunting tale either because Fox referred to the ghost by name and revealed she is in no hurry to move.
Julia Fox Reveals What It’s Like To Live With A Ghost
“I actually have a ghost that lives in my house right now,” she told the show’s host Meyers. “I feel like I talk about her a lot, and I feel so bad. I’m, like, putting her on blast. Like, I don’t know if she wants me to talk about her.” Also, in the interview, she shared that the spirit is named “Beauty” and that she was already present at the house and did not attach to her elsewhere and follow her home.
As for how she and her young son discovered they were not alone? “It was funny: It begins like any ghost story. I felt a pull toward this house, and it was a full moon, and then I was like, ‘That’s it. I’m getting the house,’” she said of her house guest. “And then when we went down to the basement after we’d already moved all our stuff in, there was a little letter from the previous owners basically saying, like, ‘This is Beauty.’ And it had all her things: her hairbrush, her mirror…”
Right, most of us would be freaking out if we thought we were living with a spirit, but Fox is not most people, and the reaction to her story (which was shared in a clip and posted on Instagram) has created a bit of a fan frenzy.
Julia Fox’s Fans Are Hanging On Her Every Word
Fox has a legion of loyal fans who are eating up her story. “I love her I believe every single crazy thing that comes out of her mouth and I want more. More please!!!” a comment reads. “If I was a ghost I would try to hang with Julia Fox, too,” another shared.
Other reactions include suggestions for Fox’s career with a comment reading, “omg Julia could be in Buffy I can totally see her as a new slayer.”
It’s clear that Fox has a lot of people who believe her, but living with a ghost may have also helped prepare her for an upcoming role we are looking forward to: she will appear in Steven Soderbergh’s thriller, Presence. Wonder what Beauty has to say about that?!
