Travis Kelce may not be quite as excited for the 2025 Super Bowl in New Orleans as he has been in the past. It looks as if Taylor Swift has laid down the law with her NFL champion and is forcing him to reel back on the wild and crazy antics that have taken place in the past.
Taylor Swift has issued a stern warning to Travis Kelce ahead of the Super Bowl 59. Following the Kansas City Chiefs’ AFC Championship win over the Buffalo Bills, Taylor made her thoughts known to Travis.
The Shake It Off singer is excited to head to New Orleans on February 9th to cheer her man on during the Super Bowl. However, Taylor has made it clear to Travis that she won’t put up with any wild partying with the guys, whether they win or lose.
The Kansas City Star caught a conversation between Travis Kelce, his mom, Donna Kelce, and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. The clip was posted to TikTok, and Taylor can be heard telling Travis’ mom, Donna, that she has already told Travis there would be ‘no Bourbon Street.’
Travis looks uncomfortable and tells his mom, “Yeah, I won’t be having as much fun that night.” His mom quickly agreed, adding, “No, you won’t!”
Taylor Swift Keeps Travis Kelce On A Tight Leash
Travis Kelce promised Taylor Swift and his mom that he wouldn’t drink any hand grenades before the Super Bowl in New Orleans. The drink is a popular cocktail throughout the Bourbon Street bars that packs a powerful punch containing vodka, rum, gin, and melon liqueur.
Taylor and Travis are known for having a good time and having a few adult beverages. However, Taylor is looking out for Travis’ best interest this year. In the past, fans have called the couple out on their alcohol consumption.
Previous reports reveal that Taylor Swift urged Travis Kelce to slow down on his drinking in October. The warning came after the couple began receiving a lot of criticism over their drinking. It was also suggested that Travis was seemingly out of shape early in the NFL season and not performing up to his usual standards. So Swift reportedly made it her mission to get Travis back in line.
Many fans believe that an engagement announcement will follow the Super Bowl. Taylor Swift’s fans believe that now that she has wrapped up the Eras Tour, Taylor has marriage on her brain. They predict Travis and Taylor will marry later this year, and a pregnancy will follow.
This could also be another reason Taylor Swift wants Travis Kelce to cool it with the partying and act more like husband/ father material. Then again. It wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see Travis and Taylor get a little crazy celebrating in New Orleans. Especially if the Chiefs win the Super Bowl for the third consecutive year in a row.
