Mortal Kombat Meets Marvel Rivals In An Innovative Fan-Art

“As the snow falls, so will you”

There’s a multiverse going on in Mortal Kombat, and what if in one of them, Sub-Zero joins Marvel Rivals? Many of the Mortal Kombat characters have the ability to join this game because of their powers, and Sub-Zero is one of the best options that a fan has given their art to.

User kouiouchtebaiachi on Reddit has posted an art on how Sub-Zero would look if he joined Marvel Rivals for the rest of his icy career. The image looks nice and the art is basically the MR’s style, but there’s one huge problem that fans have noticed. Take a look below.

Wanted to have fun so I did a quick drawing of how Sub-Zero could look as a guest kharacter in Marvel Rivals.

Why in the 6 realms is Sub-Zero bald here? The art is fantastic! But, I’ve never ever seen Sub-Zero having hair loss or choosing to go bald in any of the MK storylines. It’s a fresh look though, makes him look like Kratos a bit. Also judging by the scar on his eye, this is Kuai Liang, Bi Han’s little brother and the second Sub-Zero that’s actually Scorpion in Mortal Kombat 1 just because.

Now if this was actually a thing and Sub-Zero joined Marvel Rivals in a crossover with Mortal Kombat, I think he’d fit great into the gameplay. He’d most probably be a DPS, because he’s no tank by the looks and as far as I know, Sub-Zero isn’t a healer type of character either.

He has the ability to throw ice balls that’d freeze the opponent, and well, MK characters would have OP melee attacks in this game for obvious reasons. For Sub-Zero’s ultimate, however, it could be anything innovative or maybe just a cloud of ice and snow damaging anyone in the radius.

Kuai Liang will probably become best friends with Luna Snow if Sub-Zero ever sets foot on Marvel Rivals in a Mortal Kombat crossover. I wonder if Sub-Zero also starts skating or dashing forward on ice in the game to move faster.

Amir is an absolute Call of Duty nerd, preferring shooter games more than everything. However, he does like to do uppercuts in Mortal Kombat and feel the NOS going through the engines in Need For Speed games.
