Jennifer Aniston is not a fan of David Schwimmer’s current girlfriend. The former Friends co-stars are said to be going back and forth as Aniston is interfering with Schwimmer’s new romance. The actor is allegedly dating a woman who is much younger than he is. While this isn’t outside of the norm for Hollywood stars, it has reportedly rubbed Aniston the wrong way and she’s expressing her concern to her longtime pal.
According to Radar Online, Jennifer Aniston is upset about David Schwimmer’s new romance with 29-year-old UCLA med student Eliana Jolkovsky. She believes that he shouldn’t be dating someone so much younger than he is. So, she’s started meddling in her friend’s relationship. Jen’s allegedly expressing concern for David, and asking him to reconsider his latest dating partner.
“Jen can’t help meddling, and David means a great deal to her,” the source dished. “She doesn’t think this is a good match!”
Over the years, Schwimmer’s love life has been full of ups and downs. He’s dated women such as actress Tina Barrett, singer Gina Lee, Spanish starlet Carla Alapont, and pop star Natalie Imbruglia. He was also previously married to artist Zoe Buckman for seven years. The pair called it quits in 2017. They also share a 13-year-old daughter, Cleo.
Jennifer Aniston Upset Over David Schwimmer’s Romance
After seeing David Schwimmer jump from relationship to relationship, Jennifer Aniston has allegedly had enough. She’s tired of seeing him repeat his mistakes and is trying to talk some sense into her former on-screen love interest.
“He keeps repeating the same mistake over and over, and Jen has watched him lurch from one relationship to another. She doesn’t want to see him hurt again and feels he’d be better off with someone his own age,” the informant continued.
Sadly, sources claim that the actress has become increasingly “protective” of her friends since the shocking death of her co-star, Matthew Perry, in 2023.
“She tends to involve herself in her friends’ business, and here she is doing it again,” the source added.
Meanwhile, Aniston may not be the right person to give dating advice. The actress hasn’t publicly dated anyone in years. In addition, she’s had her share of failed relationships in the past. The actress has previously been linked to Vince Vaughn, John Mayer, Tate Donovan, Paul Rudd, Adam Duritz, and more. She also has two divorces under her belt with Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux.
Many fans would love to see Schwimmer and Aniston take the plunge and date each other. They’ve previously admitted to having crushes on one another during their time working on Friends. However, they sadly never found themselves single at the same time. In addition, they opted not to cross the line of professionalism while working together.
It appears that Jennifer Aniston’s heart is in the right place. However, if she keeps interfering in David Schwimmer’s love life she might find herself down a friend.
