Diddy Files $100 Million Defamation Lawsuit in New York Against Documentary That ‘Maliciously Accuses’ Him of Murder

Diddy has been accused of horrific sex-related crimes, but he is not about to add murder to his charges. The disgraced music mogul recently filed a defamation lawsuit against NBCUniversal for their scathing documentary about his alleged crimes. In Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, the record producer was accused of killing his ex-wife Kim Porter.

However, Diddy vehemently refuted the allegations in his lawsuit, claiming NBC “maliciously accuses” him of murder. He implied that he would never have hurt Porter nor killed her, as insinuated in the documentary. The rapper described his ex-wife as “the love of his life and mother to his children” while reminding the court of her cause of death.

Diddy stressed that the L.A. County Coroner confirmed Porter had died from natural causes. Additionally, there was no evidence of foul play, hence the rapper’s anger at NBC for pushing a false narrative. He also disliked the documentary for fueling YouTube conspiracy theories about his alleged involvement in people’s deaths.

According to the viral narrative, it was no “coincidence” that Porter and others in Diddy’s world had died. The Bad Boy Records founder’s displeasure continued with the documentary’s take on his alleged sex-related crimes. The show addressed allegations of Diddy sleeping with minors, which he claimed were false.

Diddy explained that the allegations stemmed from a civil lawsuit from someone claiming they saw him with two girls. However, he stressed that the claims were discredited by the girls, now women in their 30s, who noted they were adults during their encounter with Diddy. On that note, the music mogul asked for $100 million in damages, per TMZ.

Fans Laugh off Diddy’s Claims of Innocence

Diddy dropped his defamation lawsuit against NBC on Wednesday morning in New York. His lawyer, Erica Wolff, echoed similar sentiments about his innocence, noting the studio had broadcasted “falsehoods.” The legal rep bashed them for disregarding the truth and interfering with Diddy’s right to a fair trial.

“Mr. Combs brings this lawsuit to hold Defendants accountable for the extraordinary damage their reckless statements have caused,” Wolff stated. The attorney’s words and Diddy’s defamation lawsuit received negative responses from X users, who bashed their legal move. Many refused to believe his claims of innocence in Porter’s death, with someone writing:

“Tbh…I believe it. There’s no reason to believe he didn’t…this is the first I’ve seen about this, but it’s so believable with everything else he’s done.”

Another supported the narrative, alleging, “Nice try. He did murder her, and Cory Gamble assisted.” A third shared similar thoughts, accusing Diddy of murdering other celebrities and advising him to “come clean.” The embattled rapper’s defamation lawsuit comes at the heels of Kanye ‘Ye’ West’s shocking pleas for Diddy’s release.

We covered the drama earlier this month, revealing Ye had dropped multiple tweets in Diddy’s favor. He started with a “FREE PUFF!” post before imploring President Donald Trump to release his “brother” Diddy. Additionally, the Carnival rapper slammed other celebrities for keeping quiet and claimed the industry was making an example of his “idol.”

Will Diddy score a win in his defamation lawsuit or face another loss like his failed release plans?
