Pete Davidson was back in New York City over the weekend due to Saturday Night Lives’ 50th anniversary show. However, it was not all laughter and fun times during this trip. The comedian was forced to reconnect with his ex-girlfriend, Kim Kardashian over the weekend. While the two seemingly left things on good terms, old feelings may have resurfaced as Davidson did everything in his power to avoid his former partner.
Since SNL was doing a longer and more important show, things were pushed back until Sunday rather than airing on Saturday night. Although, things would get pretty interesting for Kim Kardashian and Pete Davison that night before the show. Pete and some of his friends would attend Chirs Rock’s 60th birthday party. With SNL’s 50th anniversary the next day, the stars were out that night. After most likely having a short-lived good time, Kim Kardashian would show up to the party. According to The Sun, Pete’s friend would explain that he had to “Get Pete out of here.” The source also claims that Pete “Really can’t be around her.” It seems as though the comedian took the breakup a little harder than most originally thought. Davidson would then rush out of the event on very short notice.

Kim and Pete would meet on the set of SNL in October 2021, while the SKIMS founder was hosting the show. The two had a skit together making fun of the magic carpet ride scene from the film Aladdin. The two would hit it off and begin talking. From there they would become Instagram official. The two would even attend the Met Gala together, along with many other events. However, after months of interference from Kim’s ex-husband, Kanye West, the two would call it quits. Kanye’s drama was seemingly just too much for the couple to handle. Their relationship would end in August of 2022.
“There was a lot of guilt and he went through a lot because of my relationship [with Kanye],” Kim later told sister Kourtney’s ex Scott Disick on the family’s Hulu show.
Pete Davidson would not stay single for too long, though. He would quickly try and move on with actress Chase Sui Wonders. However, Kim Kardashian was also quick to find a new man in NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. However, despite rumors of Kim being with a mystery man, both she and Pete are reportedly single again.
Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have seemingly remained on good terms, even with Pete disappearing from the party without saying hello first. However, it seems they intend to stay just friends, judging by Pete’s actions at Chris Rock’s birthday. Will Pete ever be able to face Kim again? Only time will tell.
