Khloe Kardashian is looking to break away from her reality TV roots and do something new. The Good American founder has allegedly found something she loves with her new podcast. The show, which features Kardashian interviewing guests and sitting with her close friends and family members has become a favorite among fans on X. Now that Khloe has found a new creative outlet, she doesn’t want to let it go. In fact, she’s reportedly ready to lean into it and break away from her mother Kris Jenner‘s creative control.
According to a report by In Touch Weekly, Khloe Kardashian wants to turn her full-time focus to her Khloe in Wonderland podcast. This will allow her to branch out on her own in a way that she never has before. Although she’s not leaving her famous family behind, she reportedly likes that she’s doing the podcast on her own.
Meanwhile, Khloe and her famous brood may be looking for new jobs anyway. An insider tells the outlet that the reality TV space is a bit fickle and that the family isn’t getting multi-year renewals on their Hulu series. Because of this, it seems smart for all of them to find other career paths.
“Khloe isn’t just being a tourist in the podcasting and interviewing space, she’s wanted this for a while and slowly worked up to it, even shooting test interviews that have never aired anywhere in order to refine her interviewing skills,” the source explains. “But underneath all of her prep, there’s a pretty clear restlessness about the reality franchise, and that’s a big reason why The Kardashians is not getting multi-year renewals anymore.”
Khloe Kardashian Ready To Move Away From Kris Jenner and Reality TV
Kardashian allegedly feels like she’s taken her reality TV career as far as she can. Instead, she’d love to explore her hosting ambitions. In addition to looking to further her podcast, she allegedly has dreams of heading a syndicated talk show, much like Drew Barrymore and Kelly Clarkson. However, she would put her spin on the average daytime talk show. With Khloe’s explosive personality and knack for finding humor in every moment, she reportedly thinks she could appeal to a younger audience.
However, Kardashian may want her mother Kris Jenner to back off when it comes to her career. Sources say that she can make it happen on her own accord. However, If Khloe really wants to make a serious run at hosting, she may want to consult her “momager” for advice along the way.
“If you think she can’t do this without Kris pulling all the strings, think again, because Khloé’s podcast is very much her own creation, and not some scheme that Kris pitched her,” the insider stated. “It does well, but Khloé wants to turn it into something a lot bigger, and she’s not blowing smoke – she’s totally serious about this being the next evolution of her on-camera persona, which is still very likable and relevant even after all these years.”
Meanwhile, Khloe’s sisters are also busy exploring their own careers outside of reality TV. Kylie Jenner has her makeup empire and Kendall Jenner is a model with brand deals. Kourtney Kardashian has her wellness brand Poosh. Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS clothing line continues to expand.
