Khloe Kardashian and her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, have always had a strange relationship. Just last year Khloe could be seen taking her two kids as well as one of Kim Kardashian’s children to an NBA playoff game. The Cleveland Cavaliers were set to face off against the Boston Celtics in the second round of the NBA’s postseason.
Thompson was set to play some heavy minutes for Cleveland due to an injury to the starting center, Jarrett Allen. However, according to Page Six, Khloe Kardashian was very hesitant to attend that game with her and Tristan’s kids. The Good American founder would then explain the “sad” reason she was on the fence about going. Khloe would open up about the situation on her family’s Hulu series, The Kardashians. The reality star would explain the amount of anxiety she felt regarding what the media would think about her going to her ex-boyfriend’s basketball game. While her family knows they are no longer romantically involved, it’s a different story for the rest of the world.

“I did have a lot of anxiety about going more for, like, the public’s reaction, which is so lame to say, because I knew I was gonna get filmed,” she said during a confessional. “It’s sad that I had a lot of anxiety because of outside noise,” she shared. “I just didn’t want to hear it anymore. Like, ‘Oh, she’s going to support her man.’”
However, despite the looming headlines, Khloe seemingly put her kid’s happiness before her own personal agenda. Kardashian explained that she did it all for her children so they could see their father play once again. Tristan is not the young man he once was; an opportunity for a player of his caliber to play meaningful postseason minutes does not come around very often. This may have also played a factor in Kardashian ultimately deciding to go to the game in Cleveland. The kids who attended the game could be seen all rocking a number 13 Tristan Thompson Cavaliers jersey, however, Cleveland would end up losing that game.
The history between Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian is long and messy. After a long time of smooth sailing as well as having children together. Thompson would get caught cheating on his baby mamma. However, after Khloe took the NBA player back, history would repeat itself. Although this time Thompson would get the other women pregnant.
