Don’t Expect Black Ops 6 Zombies Season 3 Map To Be Bigger Than The Tomb

Good effort btw

It’s been a wild couple of days for Call of Duty, from the error that didn’t let the players jump into the game at all to dataminers leaking every single new thing coming to Black Ops 6 Zombies Season 3. Yes! Double Tap perk-a-cola is coming back alongside a new ammo mod and field upgrade! And we’re receiving a brand new Zombies map in Black Ops 6 Season 3! See? That right there is a tiny bit of overhyping of the thing that has not even been officially announced yet. That’s the wrong treatment we gave The Tomb, and that’s just not the way it works.

Now I’m not saying the leaks are wrong or whatever, it’s just that, not every Zombies map is going to be as big as Terminus Island. Before The Tomb‘s release, fans like me were so fascinated about the dig site, thinking that it’d be on the same scale as Origins from BO2/BO3. And that’s how we got disappointed, even if The Tomb was a great map on its own.

According to the realityuk_ on X, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies will feature a new map in Season 3, which is heavily assumed to be The Mansion. Just like how The Tomb was teased by the end of Citadelle des Morts, The Mansion is already seen in the latest Zombies cutscene, and just like the name suggests, it can’t be anything crazy on scale. It’s a mansion.

For zombies, we should be receiving a new map in the next seasonal update (Season 3) along with Frost Blast / Shatter Blast, and Double Tap / Tombstone

The first time we saw this map was in the Liberty Falls intro cutscene trailer, where Edward Richtofen fights his way down in his mansion to reach and disable the S.A.M AI. Oh yes, the map presumably has two levels, one of which is an underground lab that holds S.A.M. in it. And since this was the last place we saw Richtofen, we might see him return somehow in this location.

Now Treyarch is releasing Zombies maps for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on a seasonal streak here, and there are two things to consider about this: 1. Don’t expect the map to be so big. 2. It might be released on Season 3 Reloaded because Verdansk is rumored to return to Warzone on Season 3.

The new Black Ops 6 Season 3 Zombies map accordingly comes with the Double Tap perk, Frost Blast field upgrade, and Shatter Blast ammo mod alongside a new wonder weapon that’s probably the Wunderwaffe DG-2. Comments like “All of that? at once? Crazy,” are nothing but genuine fan hype we all have, but remember to keep it in check. The Mansion Zombies map isn’t going to be Der Eisendrakhe, Gorod Krovi, or Kino Der Toten.
