The singer explained that her new EP helped her do more than get back into singing; it let her learn who she is.
“I came in with: forget who they told you to be. That was the manufactured version of myself,” she said of her thinking when making her EP. “Remember the person that opened her mouth and sang ‘Amazing Grace’ for the first time.
