Mellencamp expressed her appreciation for the “unwavering love and prayers” she’s received as she begins her treatment. The star added that her fans’ support is keeping her resilient throughout the journey. She wrapped up the post noting, “I appreciate all of you for standing by my side.” Mellencamp’s joyful news was received with enthusiasm and support from her fans.

During her visit, she discovered that she had multiple tumors on her brain. They included several large ones requiring surgical removal and smaller tumors that could be treated with radiation therapy. Dr. Terry and Heather Dubrow also recently shared some encouraging news about the star.
Despite initial concerns about her diagnosis, the Dubrows remained optimistic, noting that she received good news amidst her challenges.
